Departure

"Payton I need to talk to you" my grandpa said waving me over

"Yeah?" I say sitting on the stool setting next to him.

"Your gonna be staying with Sam and Dean for a while and there gonna teach you to hunt." He said looking at the floor

"Hunt what" I say a little confused

"Ghosts demons and your gonna help run the family business." he said looking at me.

"Oh." I say looking at the ground and thinking

FAMILY BUSINESS GHOSTS DEMONS WHAT THE HELL I DIDNT THINK THIS STUFF WAS REAL!!! I just want to be alone now I say to myself

"Payton go pack your clothes" Dean said sounding a little scary to me "easy to run in dark clothes"

"O-okay" I say feeling shyness take over my body as I start to shake and I head upstairs to grab my clothes a brush toothbrush conditioner soaps and all my other stuff and put it in my army green duffle.

"Ready to go?" my grandpa said looking a little sad that I was leaving

"Yeah." I say as a tear slips from my eye and I go give my grandpa a hug he hugs my back and I can feel that he is sad too

"I love you." He says hugging me tighter

"I love you too." I say and I meant it too . "I think I need to grab one more thing" I say as I enter my room I feel around under my desk and grab my journal that hides my razor and my feelings remind me to hide this from them.

As I get in the back seat of the Chevy impala I watch Sam and Dean giver grandpa hugs

"Bye Jacob we'll keep her safe" Sam said to my grandpa.

"Bye Jacob" Dean said giving my grandpa a hug and walking back to the car followed by Sam

"Ok Payton first off where do you wanna go?" Sam said turning to look at me .

"Uh how about California" I say looking at him "I always wanted to live the state of California Nebraska bored me." I say laughing a little

"Right" Sam said also laughing "ok Dean I guess we're going to Cali" he said turning around.

Dean started the car and cows came on (carry on my wayward son) and I started humming along I always did like the oldies.

"So you like Kansas" Dean said talking to me.

"Hell yeah they rock!" I say and I think he thought I was joking cause he laughed I soon fell asleep hoping we'd get somewhere soon.
