Chapter 11

It was morning when Mal and Rachel woke up. "Hey Rach. Can I ask you something?" Mal said. "Sure you can ask me anything." Rachel said. "Can you do my makeup please?" Mal asked. "Sure. I would love to do it." Rachel said. "Thanks so much Rach. I don't know how to apply make up." Mal said. "Didn't your mom teach you?" Rachel asked. "My mom wasn't big on make up tips." Mal said. "Oh okay. I'm about done." Rachel said. "Thanks for doing this and do I look okay?" Mal asked. "Yeah you look fine." Rachel said. (Quick A/N: Mals outfit for the date is up above.) They heard a knocked on the door. "Your date is here." Rachel said squealing. "Okay. Come on." Mal said as they went downstairs. They opened the door and saw Finn and Ryder there. "Hey Finn. Hey Ryder." Mal said. "Hey Chloe." The boys said. "Finn what are you doing here?" Rachel asked. "Well I talked to Ryder and I asked him if we can join him and Chloe by going to the Lima Bean. What do you say?" Finn said. "Ummm." Rachel said looking at Mal who was shaking her no. "Not today but maybe another time." Rachel said. "Okay. Well we should go ahead and walk to school." Finn said. "Well should go and get some coffee before school okay Chloe." Ryder said. "Okay. Bye Finn. Bye Rach." Mal said. "Bye Chloe." Finn and Rachel said as Mal and Ryder walked towards the Lima Bean. "Are you happy you and Rachel made up?" Ryder asked. "Yeah I am." Mal said. "I guess she ships us judging by her reaction last night." Ryder said laughing. "I know it was so funny." Mal said. They reached the Lima Bean. "Go sit down and ill order for us." Ryder said. "Can I have a frappe please?" Mal asked. "Sure thing. I'll be right back." Ryder said kissing her cheek as Mal blushes. A girl came up to her. "Hi are you Chloe?" The girl asked. "Yes I am what's your name?" Mal asked. "My name is Emily McGuire." Emily said. "It's nice to meet you. Are you getting coffee before school?" Mal asked. "I don't drink coffee. I'm getting a tea." Emily said. "I love tea." Mal said. "Are you in New Directions?" Emily asked. "Yes I am. Are you going to join?" Mal asked. "Maybe. I'm really shy." Emily said. "I could help you." Mal said. "Okay. I'll see you later. Bye." Emily said. "Bye Emily." Mal said. "Who was that?" Ryder said handing Mal her coffee. "That was Emily. She might be joining New Directions." Mal explained taking a sip of coffee. "Okay. Do you want to do a song for glee club?" Ryder asked. "Sure." Mal said. "Okay. Let's go to school before we're late." Ryder said. "Okay." Mal said taking his hand and walking towards the school. When they got there they went to Mal's locker. Rachel came up to them. "Hey Ryder. Hey Chloe." Rachel said. "Hey Rachel." Mal and Ryder said. "I just want to let you know the assignment for glee club is movies." Rachel said.  "Okay thanks." Mal said. "You're welcome." Rachel said and walked away from the couple. "So what song should we sing for movies week?" Ryder said. "Can I have this dance from high school musical 3." Mal said. "I love that song." Ryder said. "Me too." Mal said.

Somewhere else in Lima:
"Hey Evie wake up." Ben said hitting Evie with a pillow. "Oww. I'm up." Evie said. "Okay we need to find Mal today." Jay said. "But first we need to change our clothes." Carlos said.
