I open the door to see Ezra with someone unfamiliar... He's probably a new trainee.

Sorry about what happened to Noah... I look down as Ezra says that.

Sorry, I think I need some time alone. I said without lifting my head. I was about to close the door when Ezra says something that shocks me.

A trainee was shot! I look at them and saw the person she was with looking down, crying I guess...

Come in. I said and stepped aside to let them in.

Let me get you gu-

No need. Ezra cuts me off.

So how is the trainee? I asked Ezra as I sat down on the chair in front of them.

He's in a critical condition right now. Thankfully, Key was fast enough to bring him to the E.R. I nod as she explains.

So who are you with? I ask while looking at the boy

He is Erick, a friend of the trainee. Ezra said while comforting the boy.

Actually... I look at the boy as he finally started to talk.

We introduced ourselves as good friends but... He's my brother.. I was speechless. A young boy like him is already experiencing this kind of situation. It's hard to know that someone you love will die soon, even if it's just a small chance of happening.

Wait.. how do you have different surnames then? How old are you? I asked

I'm 17 years old. I can change my name but I didn't. He's been wanting to change his name since our dad was put in jail...

Why was he put in jail? Ezra asked

After our mom's death, our dad got really depressed and lost I guess.. He started drinking, he comes home late at night, drunk. And most of the time when I wake up the next day, I find shoes of a woman by our door with a lot of things scattered around the house. He also treats me and Seb badly..

Anyway, the reason why he's in jail is because..he's a drug pusher, a drug addict...*sigh* I already found out about it before he was put in jail and of course I had to tell someone so I told Seb.. And you know people who use drugs, they can do things that you never thought they would do...

One day, I woke up seeing no sign of dad so I told Seb but all he said is that he'll be here later, probably drunk, again.. But how many hours has passed and I started to worry so I told Seb to bring us to the police station. When we arrived, we told them about our dad then they said that he is wanted and asked us if we have any idea of where he could be. So of course we asked why they are looking for dad and why he is wanted. They said....

He raped someone.. I never thought he would do such a thing.. Apparently the victim was able to escape and got to her family and told them what happened and so they reported it to the police.

While talking to the police, someone suddenly appears by my side. He talked to the police while the woman with him was crying next to him. He said that his daughter was killed. As we were listening, we found out that their daughter was the woman our father raped...

Just then Erick starts crying. I comfort him and told him that if he can't continue talking about it, we won't force him. He nods and takes a deep breath.
