Chapter 10

Wes' POV

I watched Keaton and Kylie walk out the door in shock. Did she just reject me than walk out with my brother. I was a little jealous when she made out with Keaton in front of the blonde. but Keaton said it was just for show. I really want her and I was so close to getting her last night if it wasn't for Drew. I will make her mine. I turn to Drew. " are they a thing?" I ask him.

"I don't know. why does it bother you? do you just want to have fun with her?" he asks a little coldy.

"No it doesn't bother me." I say a little too loud. Trent walks into the room.

"Hey guys. What did I miss? Where's Kylie?" he asked.

"She told us she was going out with her hot boyfriend Keaton!" Drew says chuckling.

"Well I'm glad. I'm gonna go surfing do you guys want to go?" he asks.

"Sure. yea" me and Drew say.we grab our surfboards and head to the beach.

Kylie's POV

After chilling at the skatepark for a few hours we decide to go to the beach. when we get there we sit in the sand.
"So Keaton tell me about yourself!"

"Well you probably know some of this stuff but I'll be 18 July 16th my crush is Zooey Deschanel. I love my cat Zuni. and I'm in emblem3 with my bro and Drew."

"Omg I never knew!" I say and we both laugh.

"Tell me about yourself." Keaton says.

" Okay I'll be 18 July 27th. my full name is Kylie Helena Brooks. my favorite color is navy blue. I love emblem3" I give him a smirk" I have a cat names chloe. my celeb crush is between Mark Whalberg and Justin Timberlake" I tell him.

"You have a cat?" he asks.

"Yea but I left her in NJ with my mom. I really miss my cat."

"And you named her chloe" he says with a smirk.

"Okay that was a total coincidence. I actually got her two days before you guys auditioned. and the day you guys auditioned I thought of the name. it's like my brain knew you guys would be big one day and you would have a song called chloe" I say and we both crack up.

"That's awesome. our birthdays are like a week apart too!"

"Yea! we should have a joined party!" I say.

"That would be cool. do you want to go watch a movie at home?" Keaton asks.

"Sure can I pick the movie though?"

"Yea go ahead." he grabs me hand and we walk home.

Keaton's POV

I was sitting on the couch thinking 'When Kylie said she missed her cat I knew the perfect thing to do. For her birthday I would go to NJ and get her cat for her. she would be so happy'. Kylie came back in the room with popcorn and candy. she handed me te food and held up The Notebook. my eyes grew wide. she looked at me and smirked. "what don't want to watch a sappy movie with your "girlfriend"?" she said putting quotes around girlfriend.

"Whatever just put the movie in."

By the time the movie was over she was fast asleep and it was 10:30 pm. I carried her up to her room and laid her on the bed. Riptide follow me to the bed and waited by my legs whining. "what's the matter boy? " he started pawing at the bed. "oh I get it." I lifted him up receiving a kiss on the face . "I'm guessing in the only one you like and trust huh?" I put him on the bed next to Kylie. I walk over to the door. I'm about to reach it when Kylie says my name.

"Keaton?"

"Yea Ky?"

"Can you stay with me tonight?" she asks quietly. i walk over to the bed and lay down. she cuddles into me and I awkwardly place my hands at my side. she lets out a soft chuckle. "you know you can just wrap your arms around me if you want." I laugh and wrap my arms around her." I wasn't sure if you'd be uncomfortable." I laugh. "goodnight Ky." I say. " goodnight Keats." she replies and places a light kiss on my cheek. soon I hear her soft snores. I look at her.

"I think I'm falling for you."
