Chapter 16

Recap-Chloe has to go to Florida to live with her dad. After a year she finds out he murdered people and had to go to prison for life.

The police asked me if there was anyone in Florida that could look after me while my dad was prisoned. I told them that my dad took me from England so no but my mum lives in England but I didn't live with her. The policeman then asked me who I lived with and I told him that I lived with Max And Harvey's family. They understood my scenario and agreed to pay for a ticket for me to go back to England as long as someone was at the airport to pick me up. I told him that I would ask Sara now and see if she could come pick me up. I WAS GOING HOME! 😊 I texted Sara straight away.

Me: Hey Sara! Long story but my dad is going to prison for life so the police is paying for a ticket back to England as long as someone's at the airport to pick me up. Please don't tell the boys, I want it to be a surprise.
Sara: Oh my gosh! Sweetie! Of course I will come pick you up! I will tell the boys they are going bowling to try and cheer them up 😊
Me: okay! It might be a bit late but can you pick me up today at 11pm. Thank you so much ♥️
Sara: Okay I'll be there, can't wait to see you again! It's been a year and a half.
I ran upstairs to get my stuff and started packing. I got into my Sunday comfy clothes ready for a long flight. Weirdly, the police took me to the airport and I assured them I was okay from there. It took quite a while boarding and going through security but I just kept thinking about Max And Harvey's face when I got home. I finally got onto the plane and once again started listening to really happy songs as I slowly fell asleep. (5 hours later)
I woke up to the sound of the air hostess saying that we were about to land so I had to put my phone away. I wasn't in the mood for a fight because I was too happy so I just went with the rules and sat up ready for landing. Once we'd landed, I got a text from Sara saying 'we're here, by gate 4' I texted her back telling her that I just needed to get my suitcase and then I'd be there.
(Harvey's POV)
We were in our room, Max still antisocial and depressed.. when our mum came into the room 'Boys were going bowling' she said. I was slightly confused because it was Like 10:30pm but I agreed to go. Come on Max!! It might cheer you up! I said to him. 'Nothing but chloe would make me happy. 😭' he said in a sad, bored voice. After 10 minutes of arguing, I managed to force him to come so he got into his comfy clothes and we set off in our mums car. Our dad was looking after Tilly and Leo and even they didn't have a clue why we were bowling at 10;30 😂. 'This isn't the way to bowling' Max said in a confused tone. I agreed and we got suspicious as our mum tried to convince us that she was just going a different way. It took about 20 minutes to get to the 'bowling' but when we got where we were getting to it said on the building 'Berkshire Airport'. 'What the heck mum?! Are you just trying to make me more upset about chloe!!' Max said, almost crying. Our mum just smirked and told us to get out of the car which we both did. I wondered why we were waiting by Gate 4.. mum was being so suspicious...
(Chloe's POV)
I finally got my suitcase and started walking to gate 4. As I was walking towards the gate I saw Max And Harvey but they didn't see me yet. My eyes lit up and I started running towards them. Both of their eyes filled with happiness and they finally noticed me and we ran up to eachother and hugged forever. 'What are you doing here?' Max said, smiling. Long story, murderer dad, prison for life. I explained. 'Told ya we'd see you again chloe ♥️😏' Harvs said with a smug look on his face. I just laughed and carried on hugging them. 'I wore the promise ring and necklace every day and thought of you all the time, and even decorated my room like yours' I explained to them. They were just too happy so didn't reply to me. Sara took us back in the car and took us bowling anyway because she promised the boys. I won!! (Obviously) 5 strikes overall I got, to be honest I think they let me win though ♥️😂 After 2 games we went home around 1am. We got to the house and it reminded me of where I grew up so I started crying. Leo and Tilly both ran up to me and hugged me, which was too cute 😂♥️ I went up to our bedroom and I unpacked my things. I was so jet lagged so we just sat on the sofa cuddling and carried on with our film marathon that we started a year and a half ago. I slowly drifted asleep, smiling. I was finally back home with my REAL family. I love them all too much. I woke up in the middle of the night, Max still awake. He explained to me that since I left, he wasn't himself and didn't think that he could live with me being away from him forever. 'I'm back home now, I'll never leave again, I promise' I tiredly said as I drifted back asleep. Max finally fell asleep with his cheek on my head and Harvey was already asleep with his arms round me and his head on my stomach.
