*Rye's POV*
"Did you miss me Lauren?" I get a hold of Lauren before saying to the man "get out before we call the police!" He laughs "don't do that. I thought I could uh hide out here. Cops are after me so wouldn't want to spoil that now would ya?" He sniggers. "Jake what are you doing here?" Lauren asks. "I need you Lauren. Your help. That night was amazing." Brook walks out the room, looking as if he was to cry.
"You are sick! You need to get out. You're making things sound much worse than it was. You really don't like Brook and Lauren's relationship do you?!" I scream.
"You have to leave. Right now. Just go!" Kaitlyn says getting her phone out. I look at Lauren and she is sat in the corner, head in hands, rocking herself, crying. I walk over to her. I sit next to her and pull her in for a hug. "Hey. We will get rid of him, promise."
"I just don't understand why he is bringing this up now. Me and Brook have been over for 2 weeks." I notice Brooklyn smiling from the kitchen. She called him Brook again. He walks over. "Hey, Lauren." She looks up at Jake and Kaitlyn arguing. I go over to him.
"STOP! GET OUT NOW!"
"Don't tell me what to do!" And he slaps Kaitlyn. Brook sees this and rushes over to her.
*Lauren's POV*
I see Kaitlyn laying on the floor, Brooklyn leaning over him. I rush over to her. I see Jake and walk up to him. I throw a first at him before breaking down. "Just get out Jake. Please. Leave me alone. I can't live a normal life around here without you. You disturbed me and I don't like it. You're a piece of shit! Got lost you loser." He looks at me before saying "Oh. I will be back you now. You bitch!"
"Oi. Close your mouth before I do it for you." Rye said.
I look over at Kaitlyn and Brooklyn. It looks as if Kaitlyn is crying into his chest. He looked at her and kissed her head softly. I begin to cry harder. Brooklyn always did that to me. "Kaitlyn...are you okay?" I walk over to her and Brooklyn leaves us. I look at her face. "Your face! It's bleeding."
"Hey. It's alright. Honest."
"Im sorry about him. We need to call the police."
"Don't say sorry. You messaged me. I had a right to get involved into this. Lauren, I'm your best friend and you're mine. I'd do anything for a best mate." I smile at her before we hug. "I've been there from the beginning. And I will. All the way to the end." Rye walks over to me and grabs my hand. "C'mon over here Lauren." Brooklyn walks over to Kaitlyn and cleans her face up. They look at us. "Rye can we go upstairs a minute? There's something I need to tell you." We go upstairs, hands still laced together. I get my phone out and message Kaitlyn.
Me: I need to do this now
Kaitlyn: do what?
Me: I'm sorry I didn't tell you. It hit me recently.
Kaitlyn: Lauren, tell me already.
Me: please don't tell Brooklyn yet?
Kaitlyn: depends what it is.
Me: Kaitlyn  I'm begging you. I need to wait before I go and tell people. And especially Brooklyn
Kaitlyn: okay I won't. Now spill.
Me: I'm going to tell Rye....
Kaitlyn: that's not helping...??
Me: I need to tell him my feelings towards him....
Kaitlyn: you have feelings for Rye??
Me: that's what I said?
Kaitlyn: YOU HAVE FEELINGS FOR RYE?!?!?
Me: maybe....don't tell Brook please???
Kaitlyn: okay I won't. That is so cute. Oml. Just know, I will be there to sort out any situation and stuff.
Me: good. I know you won't. I know you will be there. I will be too.
Kaitlyn: go get 'em tiger 👀❤🐝💕
