They Lived

Chapter 6

LILY POTTER POINT OF VIEW

James and I immediately knew we had to tell Dumbledore about last night. Harry's nightmares will get worse. More frequent even. James and I agreed. We could go back to work. But not both of us c0uld be sent on missions at the same time. Only one. I want to take a short leave to be with Harry. James could if he wanted. We have more than enough money to get us through both of our lives.

James and I are sitting at the dinner table while Harry is in his room taking a little nap.

I am now 5 months pregnant. The baby is gonna be a girl.

"James. We got to decide on some names for the baby." I say

"What about Violet Lily Potter?" He suggests

"I like that." I say

We hear two little feet walk down the stairs. Harry comes in.

"Hi Bud." I say picking Harry up and setting him on my lap.

"Padfoot?" Harry asks

"He's coming over for dinner. So is Uncle Remus." James says

Harry Nodded clapping his hands excitedly.

"I was thinking About taking Harry up on the broom today. You know not for terribly long." James says

"I don't care. Just please be careful with him." I say

He nodded

"Harry. Come here." James called

" Daddy?" He asks

"Want to go flying on the broom." James asks

Harry ran towards James as fast as his little legs could carry him. Me? I was laughing at them as they went outside.

I sat in the chair on the back porch of the manor. Seeing My Son and Husband flying in the air doing all sorts of tricks.

I eventually get up and go start dinner. I get about half way done when Remus enters the house.

We exchange plesentrys. Saying Hello and what not.

"Where is Harry and James?" Remus asks

"Ah Well. My husband decided to take my son flying on a broom. They have been flying around the Quidditch pitch for the last hour." I say

A pop is heard. Then the words "Where is my Godson?" Arose from the entrance.

"Hello Sirius." I say giving him a hug "They are both outside."

Sirius headed out while Remus and I continued our pleasant conversation.

"So decide on any names yet?" Remus asks

"We have a few ideas for her." I say "But nothing's set in stone."

"Lovely. I'm sure it'll be nice once shes here. Wonder what James will be like with a daughter." Remus laughed

"Oh Yeah I'm counting down the days. When she does come. We need someone to watch Harry. Will you?" I ask

"Yeah of course." Remus says

"I should ask Sirius though. So you can spend time with your goddaughter." I say smiling slightly

"Maybe. But I think Sirius would actually like to be there." Remus says the realization hitting him after a couple of minutes "wait? I'm gonna be the godfather?"

"Well Yeah." I say

Remus jumps up and hugs me excitedly.

Things are beginning to look really well for the Potter family. If I do say so myself.
