Forevermore
You see her face
You see her smiling
She seems so happy
But inside she's dying
He hides his heart
From the world
Hoping to find
Some other girl
She cries at night
She hurts inside
Praying for courage
And a place to hide
He fears his life
He has no friends
It seems so hopeless
And his life will end
The girl cries over the broken soul
Of a little boy so young
Wise beyond his years
Why a decision so dumb?
A slash through his wrist
Caused this little girl to cry
Why my friend?
Why did he have to die?
I loved him
With all my heart
Why's he gone?
He tore our love apart
You said you'd stay
Forevermore my dear
Why are you dead?
Why are you not here?
She gently kissed him
And closed his eyes
She wiped her tears
And sadly said goodbye
