Everything happened so fast yesterday with MJ that I didn't even think twice about how this might affect the people of NYC. Like, how am I just gonna leave them like that? Ugh this is so frustrating ! And MJ wants me to go with her to Italy....I've always wanted to go but my double life never lets me do anything. *sigh* I guess I'm not the only superhero there is, and it wouldn't hurt to vacay. Maybe I should hit up Matt Murdock so he can help? Hopefully he won't get pissed off...
Pete:hey Matt uhm would it be too much trouble to ask a favor from you? I usually don't like asking you to do anything, I know
you have your hands full most of the time in Hell's Kitchen
Matty:Peter! Hey, haven't heard from you in a while. No it's no trouble at all. What is it you need?
Pete:so me and a friend want to get away from the city for a bit and I was wondering if you could just keep an eye on my part of the city for a bit until I get back. It shouldn't be too long. A week at most
Matty:oh totally, that's fine :)
Pete:great, thank you so much! I owe ya one
Matty:nah don't mention it
Phew, everything went copacetic
I called MJ and told her I was packing and asked her if she wanted me to pick her up. She said no because get this, SHE LIVES AROUND THE OTHER SIDE OF AUNT MAY'S HOUSE. How have I not met her before or seen her??? Urghhhhhhh I don't hang out enough at Aunt May's house I guess.
Peter shook his head and went down stairs to tell Aunt May.
"Alright dear, I really do hope you bring a souvenir or two! I made you guys some sandwiches and a pie and cookies to take with you." She smiled happily
"Awe Aunt May, you shouldn't have. And of course! I'll bring you several" Peter said beaming
"Stop it Peter, it was no trouble at all."
She shoved the food into Peter's hands and pushed him out the door, with MJ waiting outside. She waved to them both and closed the door.
Wow, she was sure in a hurry to get me out of the house....
"Hey MJ, are you excited?"
"Excited? I think that's a bit of an understatement! I've always wanted to travel to Italy but I didn't like the idea of just going myself without someone else." She smiled brightly
"I've always wanted to go too! I just haven't gotten the time....erhm until now."
"Well I'm glad you've freed up your schedule, I don't think I'd see anyone else fit to go with me but you."
Wowooww how does this girl NOT have a boyfriend yet, she's such a sweetheart and a flirt, but I'm really starting to fall for her. I blushed, laughing.
"You're so sweet MJ."
She punched me in the arm lightly, "So are you Tiger."
