You hiked up to the peak of Mount Ebott, ready to end it all.
No more suffering, no more bullying, just end it already.
"Here it goes," you whisper to yourself as you fall backwards into the black void of the mountain.
Cold air rushed around you as your life neared it's end.
"I'm ready," you think as the ground gets closer.
Thunk.
Your vision goes black and you lose consciousness.

"Is he alright?"
You hear muffled voices as you slowly regain consciousness.
"I think he's dead." said one voice
"Papyrus! He's not dead, just unconscious." replied another.
You begin to move as your consciousness returns.
"Shhhh! He's waking up!"
You open your eyes.
" I must be dreaming!" you think, hardly believing what you saw.
A goat and two skeletons were hovering over you.
"Boys, stand back, give him air." the goat lady said.
"Yes, Toriel." replied the skeletons.
You sat up and rubbed your head, realizing you were sitting in a patch of small, golden flowers.
"Where am I?" you asked, staring at the odd group in front of you.
"Well, this is the Ruins, part of the Underground." said the goat lady, moving a floppy ear out of her eyes. You thought this over in your head then quietly responsed, "ok".
"Human, what is your name?" one of the skeletons asked. He was tall and wearing a red scarf, red gloves, red boots, and blue shorts.
"Um, (Y/N)." you replied.
"Hello, (Y/N), I'm The Great Papyrus!" the skeleton said.
You noticed that the other skeleton had not said anything. He just stood shyly behind Papyrus, a dusting of light blue blush across his face.
"Hi, what's your name?" you asked him. The skeleton froze up and shifted further behind Papyrus.
"Sans! What is wrong with you? Say hello to the human." Papyrus said.
Sans shifted out from behind Papyrus.
"h-hello." he greeted, the blush on his face becoming more intense.
"

What's up with him?" you think.
"Would you like some pie, my child?" the goat lady asked. "By the way, my name is Toriel, care taker of the ruins."
"Uh, sure." you responded to Toriel.
Toriel began to walk into the darkness, Papyrus and Sans trailing close behind. You decide to follow.
The three monsters led you to a small house, tucked away in the ruins. You walk inside and instantly feel at home.
"It's so cozy," you think, inhaling the warm smell of cinnamon and butterscotch.
Papyrus and Sans sit down in the kitchen, Sans covering his face with his blue hoodie.
"Ok, pie is ready." Toriel announces, setting a piping hot pie on the table. You and Papyrus each take a piece, but Sans did not.
"Sans, would you like some pie?" Toriel asked, seeming concerned about the short skeleton.
"Yes, brother, take some pie! It tastes wonderful!" Papyrus said to Sans, pulling his hoodie off Sans' head. Sans stood up from the table and walked towards the exit.
"Uh - um, T-Tori, I think I'll  be h-heading home... now..." he said in a deep voice.
"Oh, well goodbye, Sans." Toriel said.
"Sans, I'll be home soon, ok?" Papyrus asked his brother.
"Y-yeah ok bye Papy, Tori, (Y/N)." with that, Sans was gone.
"What's with him?" you ask, confused.
"I don't know, (Y/N), but he should be fine I think... do you have a place to stay?" Papyrus says.
"No, actually. I didn't even think I'd survey the fall. I... was trying to... kill... myself..." you say, nervously. Toriel gasped, covering her mouth with her hands, Papyrus tilted his head to the side, looking confused.
"My child! Please do not end your life!" Toriel pleaded.
"Why would you wanna do that?" Papyrus started. "If you die, then you would never get to eat another plate of spaghetti again!" You laughed at the skeleton's statement.
"Papyrus, I won't kill myself... obviously if I survived, that means that I'm meant to be alive. I have... a purpose." you say.
"Oh... well, human, you could come and live with me and Sans! We have plenty of room!" Papyrus said, excitedly.
"Wonderful! Ok then, you two should probably get going, I need to tidy up and catch up on some reading. Goodbye, boys!" Toriel said, ushering you and Papyrus out the door.
"Bye, Toriel, thanks for the pie!" you say, waving to the goat lady.
A pair of huge, metal doors slam shut, and you and Papyrus are out in the cold, snowy forest.
