I was hanging out at my best friend Will's house since he just came home from his world tour with the boys. He just had to sort something out with his brother Alex quickly so I thought I would do something while he was busy. I just wandered around his house until I found my old favorite room, the music room.

I entered and shut the door behind me and saw his guitar sitting in the case. I never learned how to play his guitar but I always wanted to. I never told him but I was a wizard at the ukulele so a guitar couldn't be that hard to learn. I sat down on the stool and picked his guitar up and began strumming the chords of "Can't Blame A Girl For Trying" by Sabrina Carpenter and I began singing the first line.

Suddenly Will bursts through the door and I jumped in fright, quickly placing the guitar back in the case and standing up. "I um-Will, I didn't think you were coming back so soon" I said uncertainly. Will looked at me then at the guitar "Did I just walk in on my best friend playing my guitar?" I smiled shyly but that hurt once again because I'm still stuck in the friend zone, "Go on then don't let me spoil your fun." I slowly hesitated and bit my lip before picking up the guitar again and carried on playing.

As I strummed the last chord Will stares at me with wide eyes, I smiled sheepishly at him. "I had no idea Natalie..." He trailed off but I shrugged my shoulders and places the guitar back in the case. I got up and made my way to the door, but somehow got stuck between Will and the piece of wood. "Who was that about Natalie?" He growled. "No one..." I replied but the heat was already rising to my cheeks giving him the clue he needed. He gently lifted my chin so my eyes met his hazel green ones, "Fine you really wanna know?" I sighed and he nodded. "It's about you Will, I've loved you for years now. Every time you get a new girlfriend it breaks my heart. I gotta go now!"

I quickly opened the door and ran down the stairs and to the front door. I slipped on my pink converse and grabbed the doorknob but a larger hand covered mine, "I love you too, I was too dumb to realize that the one I was looking for was right in front of me. I'm so sorry Natalie and I plan to make it up to you..." I silence his ranting by crashing my lips to his "Well you better start now." I smirked grabbing his hand as we ran back upstairs.

When we made it back upstairs to the music room there stood Alex, Cole, and Dana all with smirks spread across their faces and arms were crossed. "You two are in big trouble!" I gulped and Will squeezed my hand as Cole said "I lost $30 because I thought Will would ask you out Natalie!" "I lost $25 because I thought you would ask Will out!" Alex added while Dana laughed "Thanks to you two I'm $55 richer!" He ran over to both of us and spun me around in the air and kissed my cheek then kissed Will's cheek. "We're ordering pizza tonight and I'm paying guys!" Dana yelled running down the hall and Alex and Cole came over "We're seriously happy for you guys though" Cole smiled and put his arm around my shoulder while Alex went over to Will "Me too bro! Oh yeah I think you two should sing together one day, now that we are aware of your musical talent and beautiful singing voice" Alex says as he pokes my side. "That sounds really fun haha maybe one day guys" I smile as I lean into Will with his arm wrapped around my waist holding me close to him.

"Well after all that chaos & craziness, Natalie, will you be my girlfriend?" He smiles and moves a strand of hair out of my face "I would love to, Will" I smile and he cups my cheeks as I feel sparks when our lips meet and I've never felt more happy than in this moment. I'm not just dating my dream guy, I'm dating my best friend.😊❤️
