Father's Day Surprise

It was the day before Father's Day, and Trini and I are at home back in Los Angeles, while Will was on tour in England. Trini was just 3 years old, and couldn't understand why her dad was never around, but all the other little kids' dads were.

We were currently in Will and I's master bedroom, I'm packing a suitcase, and Trini's just sitting on the bed, cuddling her little teddy bear, that she got from when Will brought her onto the stage one night, while watching TV. She had the brown eyes Will has, and the dark brown hair from the both of us. She looked so cute with her pacifier in her mouth and her little hands tightly around her teddy bear as she watched her favorite TV show. I was packing some of my clothes, along with some of Trini's. Her little sandals, converse, slipper boots, dresses, leggings, shirts, and anything else she'd need. She didn't really understand why I was doing what I was doing, but once she sees her dad, she'll have that genuine sweet, smile on her face & I couldn't wait to see it. She deserved to see her dad more often and that's what I was going to do. Will didn't even know about this little surprise because this was coming from the money I earned. "Momma, I hungry." Trini whined putting her arms up in the air aka her signal for me to pick her up. I brought her downstairs to the kitchen to grab a bottle of juice, and some gold fish. "Thaank youu, momma." I nodded, and gave her cheek a kiss, "You're welcome baby. Now, we have to be somewhere, so let's go!" I said picking her up, and grabbing the suitcase, before putting on her shoes, and mine as well.

"Okay baby girl, let's get you in the taxi." Once I got the suitcase in it, and threw my backpack in the seat beside me, filled with my stuff and some more juice and food for Trini. I sat her beside me, and buckled her in, and then gave her some more gold fish, and her bottle.

We got to the airport, and went through customs, and everything, and were now just waiting for the plane. Trini was getting restless so I gave her my iPhone to watch Despicable Me, oh that sweet girl loved those cute minions, as she got comfy in my lap. I held her tightly as we kept waiting till we could finally board it.

We finally boarded the plane, and got comfy. Trini sat beside me, and cuddled in a blanket I brought, that was her favorite. When we took off, she ended up not liking it, because it hurt her ears, so she made her way to my lap, and cried into my neck. I instantly put in her pacifier to hush her, because of all the people that were on the plane.

"Hope you all had a good flight, thank you for flying with us" The captain said. I grabbed my backpack, slinging it over my shoulder, and picking up Trini, wrapping her blanket around her, so it could cover her head as it was lying on my chest. I walked out and found Alex leaning against a black car, and walked over to him. "Hey Alex," "Hey Natalie, I'm guessing Trini's under there." Alex said chuckling. I nodded and smiled before we got in the car, which drove us to the hotel Will & his family were staying at.

"Alright, so this is my room, you can get ready, and then when you want to see Will, he's two doors down, room 275." I smiled at Alex and thanked him. Trini woke up, and I ended up changing her since it was 8pm. Stupid time zones. "Mommy, where are we?" She asked slowly. I smiled, "Just a second Trini." She whined and got impatient, and started to cry, so I instantly put her pacifier in her mouth. "Trini shh." I whispered kissing her tears away. I gave her, her teddy bear, and picked her up, and walked out the room door over to 275. I knocked a couple times, and waited for him to the door.

The door opened to reveal a tired Will. "Natalie!! Trini!!" He yelled opening his arms. I walked into them and hugged him, while Trini was in the middle, "Daddy!" She yelled happily. I smiled and watched as he took her from my arms and gave her tons of kisses all over her face. "I missed you both so much!"

That night we laid in bed together, watching movies, and eating room service, and chocolate. "So how long are you here for?" Will asked, "As long as you want me too, management said its fine." I said smiling. Will's smile just got bigger. I smiled back, and leaned in to kiss him, which began to grow passionate. I'm just so happy that I was finally with him, and that Trini is back with her dad. "Happy Fathers Day, Daddy!" Trini smiled as her small eyes closed and she fell asleep between the two of us and I couldn't help but kiss her forehead as I felt Will's arm wrap around my waist as we both fell asleep happy to be with him on his special day.😊💙
