LUCY'S POV

I awoke to bright sunshine streaming across my face from the window. Sitting up I stretch forwards yawning from fatigue. Though I had a sweet and deep dream I still felt somewhat tired. I uncovered my legs from the blanket and got up fixing up the bed before leaving my bedroom. Once that thing was Done I exited my sleeping quarters and made breakfast containing two eggs scrambled together and two pieces of bacon with a piece of sausage.

Smelling the delicious scent of breakfast I finished it up feeling content. Feeling a little embarrassed I cleaned up and my plates and dressed for the day. I wore a sky blue winter coat, a slightly pale blue muffler, pink mittens, black boots, and deep blue skinny jeans. I grabbed my house key and my car keys (containing others) and walked out the door locking my house behind me, but when I turned around feeling the winter air brush upon my face I noticed a large pile of snow quivering as if it where alive.

I raised an eyebrow and slowly approached it wondering what odd reason the snow may be shaking for. I brushed some snow and ice away to find a young man around my age shivering as if he where in a freezer. I brushed more of the snow away and looked at his appearance, Though he was unconscious he still shuddered and shook. The boy had spiky pink hair, a scaly looking muffler, a slightly torn blue jacket and dark coal black boots.

Then I noticed something rather unusual... A blue... I'm guessing dyed... Cat laid curled up next to the boy shivering as well. I picked the cat up carefully and dug the boy out as well bringing both of them inside, I guess I could go winter shopping sometime else. I made a fire and set the two on the warm couch, then I grabbed a nice thick blanket and covered them with it. Siting next to them I watched the flames lick the air as warmth filled the room.

3 hours later...

In the corner of my eye I noticed the boy stir, I faced his direction and watched as he sat up with a rather confused expression. "Hello..." I simply said with a gentle smile. He blinked a couple of times before raising his left eyebrow. "Um.... Excuse me but... Where am I?" He asked switching his gaze around the room. "Erm... I found you outside and kinda felt bad.. So... I brought you inside along with your cat.. Do you mind telling me why you where outside in the freezing cold?" I asked.

He lowered his head having his bangs shadow over his eyes, "I understand if its difficult...-" I was cut off by the boy. "It's ok.... Well.... I-.... I don't really... Have.. A home......" He muttered shrugging. I furrowed my eyebrows and frowned biting the inside of my cheek. "Well.... It would be nice if I had company....... I guess you could live here?" I grinned a little. "Y-you'd really allow me to stay here?" He asked in confusion. I nodded and gave anther warm smile, his cheeks turned to a slight rose pink.

Why'd he blush though? "So..... What's the cats name?" I asked flicking my gaze over to the unconscious feline.

"That's happy... And I'm Natsu... Natsu dragneel..." The boy smiled. "Lucy.. Heartfilia.." I smiled back shaking his hand friendly-like.
