You look around the busy house, searching for Chanyeol. You'd finally gotten the motivation to confess to him. (With a lot of encouragement from your bff, Luhan).
Finding him is easy, because he's sitting in his usual spot on the sofa. You walk up to him, breathing deeply.
"Hi Y/n!" He greets you, smiling widely.
You smile back, "Hello Chanyeol. Can I talk to you for a moment? Uh- alone. If you don't mind.."
He nods, getting up, "Of course."
He leads you to his room, closing the door behind him. You take a seat on his bed, which he soon does after you.
"So, what's up?" He asks.
You feel your nerves get the best of you.
"Well you see, I've been trying to actually say this for a while and I never got the courage to actually go through with it so um," You mumble, avoiding his eyes.
"Yeah?"
"I-I," You stare at the floor, biting your lip.
"You what?" Chanyeol asks, eyes wide with curiosity.
You look at him, "I don't remember uhm my mind went blank," You quickly say.
He frowns, "Will you tell me when you remember?"
"Uh sure. I guess," You shrug, "Anyways, I gotta go," You say quickly standing up before going to your room.
You sit in front of the wall, staring it down before hitting your head on it repeatedly.
"Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid," You chant with each bang of your head.
Suddenly, a hand takes place of the wall. That doesn't stop you, though, as you just smack your forehead onto the hand.
"Hey, no," Luhan says, pushing your head back.
"I'm such a stupid idiot!" You whine, laying on the floor.
Luhan sits down beside you, "What did you do this time?"
You sigh, "I was about to tell Chanyeol how I felt about him and then I made a stupid excuse, as always, and ran away."
"Why exactly do you always make an excuse instead of telling him?" Luhan asks.
You hesitate at first, "Well, he's one of my closest friends- my best friend besides you of course. I just don't want to lose him..."
Luhan thinks, "Well. If he's really your best friend and if he truly does care about you or your guys' friendship, he wouldn't leave you or that behind. Besides, it's a fifty-fifty chance. He likes your back or he doesn't like you back. You should just tell him instead of hiding it, you know?"
You nod, "You're right."
Luhan smirks, "I know."
You roll your eyes as you get up.
"When should I tell him?"
Luhan smiles, "Well, we are going to that theme park tonight. Why not make it romantic and cliché?" He laughs lightly.
You laugh with him, "You're a genius. What would I do without you?"
He taps his chin, "Prolly die."
