26-Ask Her Out

Its been a week since I tutored Jake. He has been busy these days and whenever we meet all he does is talk about Samantha.

Macy on the other hand is acting weird these days. She's always glued to her boyfriend, Drake and we hardly spend any time together.

I entered the grounds and saw her sitting with Drake. I could join them I guess. I went over.

"Hey guys."

"Hey Jessica. Come sit with us." Drake said smiling. Macy gave me an angered look which said 'why are you here?'

I decided to text her.

J: Stop looking at me like that.

M: please go. I want to spend more time with Drake. I hope you understand.

Is she serious-_- I'm starting to hate Drake.

"I should leave."

"Why?" Drake asked confused.

"I remembered I have an assignment to submit. Catch you later. Bye."

I stood up and walked away. I guess I'll spend my free time at the library.

I entered the library and sat in one of the corners. I was using my phone and going through my instagram when I heard someone sit beside me.

"I knew Miss Nerd would be here at the library. I mean thats the only place nerds love right?" Jake teased.

I fake laughed and said "yeah." Then I glared at him.

"I searched for you everywhere." He said.

"Why? Want me to complete your homework?" I asked in a harsh tone.

He put his hand on his heart and said "ouch. Don't be so harsh. You know i've changed." He is such a drama queen.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Ooh. Seems like you're in a bad mood. Anyways, I know how to lighten up your mood."

"How?"

"You need to prepare dinner for 2 people and could you help me decorate my terrace?"

"Whose birthday is it?" I asked excited.

"Not a birthday. I want to ask out Samantha so I was thinking of asking her out on my pretty terrace that you'll decorate and then if she says yes we'll eat the dinner you make."

"Wow. What a nice plan." I said sarcastically. "What if she says no? Then my dinner will be wasted."

"No. Of course not. If she says no then we both can eat the dinner." He said laughing.

"I can only make Chinese." I said. I didn't want to help him. I mean I wanted to but I like him and I can't stand him asking out someone else.

"Samantha loves Chinese."

"Fine. I'll do it."

"Yaay." He said hugging me.
