My Other Half

The Secret Portal

           Ann and Rose stared in amazement at the glowing portal in the basement. Ann quietly tiptoed over to the tornado shelter.
Rose was too scared to move. "Come on!, said Ann as she looked back at rose who was as still as a statue. Ann sighed and walked back to Rose and dragged her to the portal.
           " What do you think it is?", asked Rose who had finally recovered from her fright. Ann shrugged her shoulders. " Let's find out!", she said. "No", said Rose . "We don't know what's back there!" Just then they heard a voice coming from the portal. " Help!" The two girls looked at each other and knew they were thinking the exact same thing. " Princess Celestia!" Without thinking Ann grabbed Roses arm and jumped into the portal.
            So many things were going through Roses mind as she traveled the through the portal. 1.WHAT was happening 2. She's scared 3. Why would Ann jump into a strange portal and take her with her 4. It wasn't princess Celestia! My little pony is just a tv show , and 5. Whatever was going on it was weird. Ann was thinking things completely different. She was excited , and was doing flips in the air as they went through. She didn't know what was happening , but it was Awesome!!!! She knew it wasn't Princess Celestia, the voices just sounded similar and she needed a way to get Rose to come with her.
          Suddenly they could see the portal was coming to a end, and saw sunlight on the other side. Next, something really strange happened. They were transforming into something else. Rose looked down at her hands and saw her fingers disappear and her whole hand turn into a little bump. She screamed. She was pretty sure she had a nightmare something like this before. "What's wrong?" , Ann asked as she heard Rose scream. Ann and Rose both got a good look at each other and Rose started screaming louder. Ann just watched in shock. Their heads were changing into a totally different creature. Their ears got bigger, and their noses got way longer. It took up like half of their face.
They both knew what they were turning into but believed this was all just a dream.
         Just then they hit the ground hard. Rose could feel warm grass beneath her, but kept her eyes shut because she was too scared to look.
