Emma wakes up before me and shakes me awake. "What do you want, Swan?" I groan.

"Someone's at the door." She says.

"Go and open it."

"It's your mom." She gets up from the couch and heads for the bathroom.

"Oh." I say and get up to head over to the door, "Hello Mother." I say crossing my arms.

"Regina, I came to check on you, to see how you're holding up after your divorce with Daniel." She smiles simply.

"Why do you care?" I inquire.

"Because, divorce is hard, dear. I am simply hear to talk to you."

My phone starts to ring, "Come in, I'll be with you in a minute." I grab my phone to see that it's Robin calling. Why would he be calling me? I ask myself mentally and answer, "Hello?"

"Hey, do you still want me to come over?" He asks.

"Sure? What time are you coming over?" I ask, remembering what Emma did last night.

"Two; in a half hour." He says.

"Okay. See you soon." I say. We hang up and I walk into the kitchen where my bitch of a mother awaits me.

"What happened with Daniel?" She asks.

"We weren't good for each other." I say grabbing advil and water. I eat a banana and take the advil.

"That's too bad to hear."

"Why are you really here?"

"I told you, to be with you. I'm sorry I left you and your father."

"No you're not. If you were sorry, you would've came to me earlier, or not walked out on us." I cross my arms.

"I needed to go, my love. I had business that needed to be dealt with. I was protecting you and your father." She explains.

"Yeah, the business where you open your legs for whomever." I scoff.

"That's not how you speak to your mother." She says.

"My 'mom', wouldn't have left. You're not my mother. You're a bitch. You need to leave. I have company coming over." I say.

"I am not leaving, Regina. I am staying here and we are talking." She folds her hands together and fixes her posture.

"To Hell I'm gonna talk to you anymore."I look her in the eye, testing her.

"Well then, I am going to sit here until you are uncomfortable and are forced to talk to me." She smiles.

"Did she leave yet, I'm getting bored." Emma comes into the kitchen and jumps once she sees my mother.

"This is your company?" My mom asks in disgust.

"She is not the company I was talking about. She is getting ready to leave. I'm going to walk her out." I say.

Emma and I walk to the door and step outside, "I'm sorry I have to rid of you so soon. But Robin is coming over, and I have to git rid of the royal pain in the ass." I say.

"You're good. Call me later." Emma walks off and I enter my apartment and brace myself.

"Who is coming over?" My mother asks.

"None of your business." I say.

"Is that boy toy I've heard from Gold?" She questions.

"You're friends with Gold?"

"We are seeing each other. He talks about work a lot, he complains about you and Robin." She smiles once again.

"You're a pain in the ass. You need to leave, now." I say. I hear a knock at the door and check the clock, "Fuck!" I say aloud. I look down and see that I'm in just a tank top and shorts. I run into my bedroom to throw in pants and a sweatshirt.

I hear muffled voices from outside my door. That bitch answered my door. I think to myself. I put my hair into a messy bun and walked out.

"Hey Robin." I smile.

"Hello." He smiles.

"Give me a minute, I have to talk to my mother." I say while pulling her into my bedroom.

"Leave." I say.

"I'll leave, but I'm coming back." She says.

"Fine, you win. You can come back." I groan and roll my eyes. She walks out and leaves.

"I'm sorry about that." I say to Robin and motion him to sit on the couch when I come out.

"It's all good." He smiles. We sit in awkward silence for awhile, collecting thoughts, "Did you and Emma have fun last night?" He asks breaking the barriers.

"Haha, yeah. Lots of fun, so fun that I don't remember half the night." I say laughing a little.

"Do you recall Emma calling me and having you talk to me?"

"Vaguely, yes. I'm sorry if we disturbed you." I say.

"You did nothing of the sort. What did she mean by needing to talk to me?" Robin asks.

"I'm sorry Robin. I wasn't thinking straight. I really like you and I was just scared of what was to come." I say quickly.

"What were you scared of?"

"I was scared of being heartbroken. But I did that myself." I say.

"I see." Is all he let escape from his breath. I bite my lip and gaze into his eyes hoping for more of an answer. He stares right back at me, "Do you want to get back together?"

"Yeah." I wrap my arms around him and hug. He hugs me back and tightens his grip a little bit, "I missed you." I whisper in his ear.

"And I you, love." He says back, "Roland too."

"I love Roland. He's a sweetheart." I smile, pulling away from our hug.

"Do you want to come over tonight and stay?" Robin asks.

"I would love to." I say. He smiles and wraps his arm around me pulling me close to him. We cuddle in silence for what seems an eternity.

"So, your mom is back?" He questions.

"Not for long." I reply, "She only wants to be here to belittle me. I invited her to Daniel and I's wedding. I wanted to reconnect with her. She came and said that him and I wouldn't last. That I'm too much of a burden for anyone to be around."

"That sucks. Why is she like that?"

"I'm don't know. She is an odd woman." I say.

"Did you ever ask her why she left?"

"She said she had some business to take care of, that she was protecting me and my father. Which isn't true. Her business is opening her legs for anyone with a dick." I roll my eyes.

"Oh." He says.

"Yeah. She's a nasty bitch." I say scrunching my nose.

"I see."

"Sorry if I made you uncomfortable."

"You're fine love." He grins showing off his dimples that make me weak.

He leans in and kisses my lips tenderly. I open my mouth and our tongues dance. He pulls me atop of him into a straddling position; he caresses my thighs softly and puts them on my ass, and squeezes slightly. "God I've missed your lips." He says against me. I smile and peck him, then I get up. He pouts like a little kid.

"I'm going to put on real clothes now." I smile and wink, hinting I want him to follow. He raises an eyebrow and I nod slightly. He gets up slowly and follows me into the bedroom. He shuts the door behind him without breaking eye contact. He strides over to me and I meet in the middle. He pulls me into this kiss that left me in a haze that I never want to leave.
