so happy with her
lauging, joking
without me
I would think,
that used to be me
but now I'm replaced
by a new girl
you've barely known
and that you have
completely forgotten
how that used to be us
sitting on the swings
in your backyard
with no worries
our troubles far ahead
and I would think
that we would be
best friends forever.
but how I've changed
since those years ago
when we were still
our young innocent selves
with no inkling
of what was to come.
