Pet peeves

"What is your biggest pet peeve?" Tristan asked as he layed down on my bed with a paper and pen in hand.

We had decided that he would come at my place and do the assignment since my parents were out for a while. If they were present in the house, then mom would have asked me if he was my boyfriend and dad would have told Tristan to not ' break my little girl's heart. ' Same old typical parent clichés.

"My biggest pet peeve is people using short forms for literally every sentence  in mobile texts. Example - your becomes ur, have becomes hv, come becomes cm, like , how much energy does it require for you to write a few extra letters? Mitochondria has enough energy for that." I ranted and he looked at me amusedly. I raised a brow and he shook his head.

"What is your pet peeve?" I asked in slight curiosity.

"I have many actually - the sound of crying kids,  when my hair grows longer and  sticks to my face, people taking selfies all the time. Those are some of mine."

"Oh and also when I eat chocolate bars, the chocolate sticks all over my mouth and hands." He added in annoyance.

"You cannot not love CHOCOLATE!" I exclaimed and he shrugged.

"I'm not saying I don't like it I'm just not obsessed with it." He stated with a completely blank expression.

I couldn't believe it! Anybody who doesn't love chocolate for me is crazy! Hell all the love songs out there are about chocolates. I basically live for it.

I groaned loudly and said,"I officially do not like you anymore!" He smirked.

"So does that mean you liked me before?" He smugly stated.

What a genius Hannah, you fell right into it.

I glared and muttered," whatever ".

"I'm hungry " I mumbled and he nodded his head.

"What should we order?" I asked.

"Pizza."

"Alright, Tristan boy."

He rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath.

I placed an order for a large BBQ pizza. My friends were obsessed with it.

"Enough about pet peeves, tell me about your love life." I muttered.

"My love life is non existent." He mumbled.

"WHAT!? with a face like that -"  I said exaggeratedly, and I stopped when I realised what I was about to say.

He smirked.

Oh shit. Fuck my life.

************

"Is there something that happened to you which nobody knows about?" I asked.

"A secret?."
I nodded.

"I don't think so. My life is really pretty boring. But, you didn't answer my previous question though." He said with a slight smirk.

"Which question?" I asked, confused.

"Are you really that attracted to me? I know I look pretty damn good, but, didn't know you'd be admitting it."

"Yeah, you look hot and sexy. A good eye candy to stare at. Got your answer?" I said straightforwardly.

His eyes widened and he cleared his throat. "Thank you very much. You look really gorgeous too." He said softly, lovingly.

How? Why?

He fiddled with his fingers and looked at everywhere in my room but me. One of his hands came up and wiped across his forehead and then.... his eyes met mine.

He stared at me with a very unfamiliar expression, it was something that resembled a caged bird trying to sing and speak something, but couldn't freely do so.  Because I couldn't exactly understand, but I did, at the same time.

I moved across the room and nearer to him,as he watched every move I made with his hawk like grey eyes. Curiosity lingered on the creases of his forehead and my hand came up to relax and smoothen them. I caressed his cheeks with the back of my hand and I closely sat beside him.

His hands crawled up my thick thighs and I immideately shivered. His finger tips dug into my hips and stayed there. He drew circles on it using his thumb and I slightly squirmed.

What was happening to me? I have never been so reactive to anything like this. But again, has anyone ever been this gentle  with me? I thought to myself.

I skimmed my fingers through his soft and firm hair and scratched it gently.
I brought him closer to me till my thumping chest was completely pressed up against his.

I tucked my head beside his and over his muscular shoulder. I snuggled into him and breathed in his scent. I shivered yet again.

"You're the only person who knows me so well." I murmured and his breath repeatedly hit my sensitive neck.

"I guess so." He whispered.

"I hope you know you're helping me in becoming a better woman. I'm some way, you do, and I'm thankful for that." I honestly admitted, having an instant flash of Isabella's letter. I snuggled even deeper till my lips touched the skin on his neck.

"You may be hot, sexy, handsome and what not but the biggest things of all is that you're the only non judgemental person I've encountered." My eyes moistened and I blinked several times to stop my raging emotions to come up to the surface.

He pulled away from me and looked at me with furrowed brows and a concentrated face. His eyes seemed to be taking in every corner of my face, fluttering on every edge and curve, until he settled on my trembling lips. His lips tugged up just a little bit
"You're an amazing woman already. Not a girl, a woman." He whispered and crushed his chest against mine.
