Chapter 8

Emily's POV

The next few days have passed by pretty fast. Right now we are in a town they haven't toured but I know very well. St. Louis Missouri. Three hours away from where I used to live.

"Hey guys, do you wanna go to one of the zoos?" Yes there are two zoos. Grants Farm and Saint Louis Zoo. My personal favorite is Grants Farm. There are draft ponies. They are really cool to see.

We decided on going to Saint Louis zoo. There wasn't much to do but look. I was bored out of my mind but I let them decide.

"What ya doing?" Jacky asks me while I'm sitting here looking at the penguins. Penguins are my favorite.

"Looking at the coolest animals on the planet." I gotta say penguins are pretty cool if you think about it.

"Nah penguins aren't that cool. But you know what is? The zebras. Let's go to the zebras. Just me and you." Jacky says grabbing my arm.

"Ok ok I'll take you to the zebras you dork." I say more like giggle at Jacky's childishness.

We get there and there is no body around.

"This is really cool." Jacky says looking at the baby zebra.

"I guess. I've been here so many times that everything here is boring to me." I say looking at Jacky.

He leans down and kisses me. What the hell. This isn't supposed to happen. I want to wait till I'm 17 but this... this feels right.

Ryan's POV

"Where's Jacky and Emily?" I ask Ronnie.

All Ronnie does is shrug his shoulders. Helpful.

"I think they went to the zebra exhibit." Max says walking out of the penguin house.

I start walking towards the zebras when I see them. Jacky and Emily. Kissing. God dammit Jacky. She's not 17 yet. Why can't you wait till she is 17.

"Hey Ryan. Oh shit" Max said as for he had seen the same scene in front of us.

I turn and walk away before I break Jacky's face. I gotta stay calm if this is what my sister wants then she can have it. I'm gonna be nice and let them be happy together. When she turns 17. Today is October 19, Jacky can wait two months right.

Max's POV

I walk up beside Ryan to see what he's staring at. Then I see it. Jacky and Emily kissing. How cute. Absolutely adorable. Then I look at Ryan's face. He looks really mad.

They pull apart and Ryan just walks off that's weird. He hardly ever gets mad except that one time Ronnie called him a fucking coward. That was scary.

I turn around and leave them alone even though it was hard to not wolf whistle. It was cute.

I walk to the bus and hear people yelling.

Jee wiz it sounds like WW3 up in there. I can tell you right now it's Jacky and Ryan. That's rare to hear Jacky talk let alone yell.

I see Emily storm off the bus in a mad fury. Damn I've never seen her this mad.

I chase after her to see what's wrongs with her.

"Emily, what's wrong?" I ask her while she's crying. I'm not sure if she's mad or sad.

"Max, why does Ryan always do something to piss me off. Every time I like someone and he sees it, he ruins everything." She sounds really upset.

"Let's go talk to him. If it makes you fell any better I'm kinda scared of you when you're mad. But I want to help." I say picking her up and putting her on my back and going towards the bus.

Emily's POV

Ryan told me to wait two months that's not that long, that's not what bothers me though. It's that Jacky and Ryan are fighting over me. And also the fact that Jacky kissed me without any warning.

Me and Max are back on the bus. Max is trying to reason with Ryan about letting me date Jacky but I honestly don't think I'm ready for a relationship anyways. My last relationship ended badly.

Oh my god what am I going to do. Nothing, absolutely nothing. I'm gonna sit back and let absolutely nothing happen and I'm gonna do absolutely nothing about it.
