Marinette P.O.V.
I woke up this morning dreading the day, the first day of school. Don't get me wrong I actually like learning and I can't wait to see Nino, but there is one person that just gets on my nerves and for some reason has hated my guts ever since 3rd grade. That's right Chloe Bourgeois, daughter of the mayor, according to her the gem of Paris and practically royalty, but unfortunately for me she was also my enemy.
"Marinette your going to be late for school" my kwami tikki yelled over to me.
"Oh shoot your right it's already 8:30"
I hurried to get ready and ran to school. When I got there I slowly walked in knowing that I would see Chloe, just my luck there she was, and she was sitting in MY seat. I walked over and told her to move, and she scooted over and said "oh Marinette I saved you a seat, right next to me"
"Chloe, what's wrong with you? Are you sick? I'm sure your father could send someone to drive you home."
"No silly, I wanted to turn over a new leaf and see if maybe...you wanted to...be my friend?"
"Wow Chloe I guess we could be friends"
"Great! Wanna come shopping with me later?"
"Umm, sure Chloe that would be...great"
(Time skip to shopping)
"So Marinette, are you and Nino like dating or something?"
"Oh no no no no no no, we are just friends, really."
"Okay good, you know Adrien?"
"No Chloe, he has been in our class since 3rd grade, yet I have no memory of this Adrien you speak of."
"......"Chloe didn't know how to respond to her sarcasm
"Sorry Chloe I was just kidding, yea what about Adrien?"
"Well I was thinking you two would be a cute couple."
"Wa.. wait WHAT? Adrien and....me? You think?"
"Totally."
