A Nokia was thrown at the wall in frustration. Delilah snorted as the immortal phone crashed against the wall yet sustained no damage.
. Her dad had fallen asleep on the couch, snoring like an elephant. Delilah quietly pulled a thin blanket over him before retreating to the kitchen. She had a habit of roaming the kitchen for midnight snacks. Quietly, Delilah raided the fridge and settled for yogurt with chocolate sprinkled on top.
Hey. grew impatient.
Delilah frowned at her phone screen. Who in the world would that b-
btw, its Luke :)
Delilah's eyes widened as her phone dropped in her yogurt. Cursing silently, she plucked her yogurt covered phone out and wiped at the screen.
Luke? The Luke?, Delilah thought nervously.
oh. hey!
Delilah numbly texted back. She was nervous; she never really spoke with Luke often. Yet she found herself grinning as she carried her phone and food to her room.
oh gosh. it's late. sorry Luke, i have to go Delilah yawned as she texted him. She did not expect to be texting for two hours straight. In fact, she was surprised the star athlete was not asleep from talking with her. Luke was actually such a kind person, Delilah thought sleepily. Even though his texting showed several errors, Delilah found it cute and amusing.
of course? where r my manners? ive kept u up. srry. good night ;) Delilah grinned at the phone screen before drifting off into a dream.
When Delilah woke up she woke up ten minutes berfore she was supposed to be at orchestra. Shrieking slightly, Delilah jumped out of bed. Throwing on clothes, she rushed downstairs.
For the first time ever Delilah was late to orchestra.
for the first time ever Delilah could not concentrate while playing After Burn.
For the first time ever Delilah was having trouble hiding her happiness.
For the first time ever Delilah realized that she might have a chance with Luke after all.
Love. Such a silly thing.
