Summer
Summer doesn't
make my nose cold.It never makes me get up in the
middle of the night to
stoke the stove.Summer never bosses me 'round
when I want to go outside....no infernal holler'n at me to
put on a coat or gloves....Summer just doesn't care.
Summer welcomes me to
prance and
dance and do cartwheels in it's moonlight.Summer is a poet.
Of all the seasons,
Summer is the one that knows
how to share.©Naomi Marshall 2017
