Bay waves lap'n… lap’n...
Gently slap’n
Chessy's ancient shore
Bundled anglers
Huddled dockers
Finesse dawn's needful lures
Wilbur boils up shrimp and grits
Coffee fresh - with muscle -
Worth the dark and sleepy-eye dance
Known as Big Bay Shuffle
What will be, will be
The future ain't my concern
This minute I'm queen
Of shrimp ‘n grits ‘n coffee
As I watch a day get born
