Running is all I've ever known. The hope to escape is the ultimate goal. I've been on my own since i was seven years old, and nine years later i can still remember the night that would change the rest of my life forever....

My mother had packed a bag full of food, clothes, and other supervisions, that you would need as if you were going camping. She told me we needed to hurry, that we didn't have much time before they came to take me away. Although she never told me who "they" were, only that they take special children away. I'd barely gotten a chance to say goodbye to my father and two older brothers. I was rushed through the back door where a huge grove of trees rested, and told to stay hidden no matter what, and to never look back. I had just gotten past the clearing of trees and looked back at my house, and through the window i saw something that would haunt me for the rest of my life. There were men in black suits tearing through my house and when they couldn't find me, they started beating my family down, and dragged them into some truck that was in front of the house.

Up until this day i haven't stopped running. I have no exact destination, other than to not get caught. I don't know if i will ever see my family again, i don't even know if they are still alive or not. From that day up until now, i haven't had an interaction with another human being. I've observed them from afar, but stayed hidden. I don't know how much longer i'm going to have to be hidden, but when i find out who "they" are and why i had to stay in hiding, that's when i will go and find out what happened to my family, and those who took them are going to pay dearly, regardless of what happened to my family.
