Phineas' pov

As soon as I was done with petting perry, I notice Isabella isn't there.

Quickly, I turn to ferb and ask where she went, slightly desperate to speak.

"Ferb? Where did she go??" I ask nervously.

(Ugh I can't believe I forgot about her!)

Ferb quickly points towards her house, but as I'm about to leave he stops me and speaks..

"Phineas, please... don't lose her."

I nod giving Ferb a reassuring smiling.

As soon as he let's go of me I start running to Isabella's as fast as my legs could take me.

I quickly knock on the door, waiting for what seems like forever, but in reality it's just a minute.

The door suddenly opens and I see Ms. Garcio-Superio

"Hello there Phineas, are you here to see my little flower.. Isabella?"

"Y-yes ma'am."

"Well, just be careful when you go see her, she came home bursting into tears. I just wish I knew why..."

I muttered under my breath.

"Yeah, me too."

I finally make my way upstairs to Isabella's room, as soon I'm there I lean against the door and sink to the floor.

My eyes quickly go to the ceiling, trying not to let a tear slip.

I wipe the tear.. and knock.
Isabella replied with no hesitation at all , surprisingly.

"What'cha......doin?"

She says in a depressed way.

"H-hey Isabella... it's m-me...ph-Phineas." I say stuttering all the way.

"I came here to... a-apologize..."

"For?" She says
"For hurting your feelings."I say

Silence*

Swoosh, click.

(What was that?) I wonder..

"Isabella? "Knock knock*
"Isabella?? "
"Isabella are you even listening?"

I quickly start to become worried.. I open the door and see that she was nowhere in sight. Then I notice the open window, I look outside and hear sniffling.

I quickly climb onto the roof, making sure to not slip.

I sit next to Isabella and reach over but she scoots away from me.

I begin to speak...

"I'm sorry, Isabella...I didn't even pay attention to you after that super nice letter... of yours. I was to focused on Perry to even care..."

"It's fine."

"How..long have you had...feelings for me?"

"First day... of summer."

"O-oh.."

"Yeah, so now you know that I... love you..."

"I can't believe it..." I said suddenly angry

Isabella looked over at me fearfully...
Then she spoke.

"I knew it."

"Knew what?" I said

"You hate me... sigh* so...who's the lucky girl?"

" N-no I-I I'm not dating anyone!!
I s-swear!"

Isabella stares at me for awhile... and then just lies down on the roof to look at the stars.

Isabella starts to sing..

You could've been my boyfriend~
You could've been my fella~
You could've done so much more~
They could've called us phinbella...

She continues to sing, but then gets to a certain part that makes me think.

We could've been together, all you had to say was when.~

All though I wanted it so much more.. I guess I'll always just be you're friend...

What might've been~

She stops and stares at me giving me a weak smile.

"I wish you knew, how this felt...even now.. it hurts.." she says

She then grabs me by the shoulders and kisses me on the lips..

Isabella's pov

(If he doesn't love me.. that's ok.)

(Isabella you're so dumb! You just ruined your friendship! WITH PHINEAS!)

( I'm ok with him hating me...at least I was honest)

"Goodbye, Phineas."
