Chapter 2
Pick-up Lines
You turned around, and you stole my heart
With just one look, when I saw your face
I fell in love
It took a minute girl, to steal my heart tonight
With just one look, yeah
I waited for a girl like you
The guard grabbed my arm as he wheeled me out of the bus. We walked around the arena towards the backstage doors where more security guards stood.
"You know Mr. Security-Guard , I think it'll be best if I know your name. You know it's just for personal use." I blabber on the guard.
"Well I would like to know your name too. It'll be useful for the police."
"You look like a Tom, or a Robert. Oh what about Jake or Jack, can I call you Jack? Jack it is! How has your evening been so far Mr. Jack? Don't even ask me, I'm just going about doing my typical fangirl business."
"Oh really and what does that involve? Let me guess...it usually involves sneaking into places your not allowed and getting into trouble."
"Point the obvious," I mumble to myself as we walk through the doors that lead somewhere inside the arena.
As we walked through we were greeted with a rather pissed off red head.
"Bob! The boys need your assistance and we've been looking everywhere for you. Oh and Bob don't forget that you have to- well who the hell is she!"
Well so much for hospitality.
"Your name is Bob! Out of all names! Your name should have more spice to it, not boring old Bob," I exclaim to the extremely-boring-named guard.
"Deborah, I caught her inside one of the buses. Going to keep her in for a while before we make contact with whomever I guess," Jim-Bob tells Miss Impolite, completely ignoring my last comment.
"Here she can't go anywhere unless she has one of these on." She informs as she shoves a pass into my chest.
I look up at Jim-Bob and he simply nods to Miss Impolite before saying thanks and pushing me forward. I follow behind him as we make our way down the hall. We continue waking down the hallway together. The scent of orange fills my nose, the noise from the concert could be faintly heard. Bob comes to an immediate halt causing me to abruptly bump into him. He turns to face me and motions me to stay put and knocks on the blue door three time. A loud crash and screams are heard but goes quiet afterwards.
"You should probably step aside," he says.
Without a chance to move the door swings wide open and the next thing I feel is the harsh impact of my body meeting the tiled flooring. Hands are all over my body, faces become blurry, sounds become softer and softer until I'm engulfed in pitch black.

Bright lights cause my eyes to flutter close once again. My hands come to shield the light and I slowly turn my head to see that I'm on the tour bus again. Voices can be heard coming from behind the curtain. Sitting upright the pain from my head causes me to loudly groan, my eyes shift towards the curtain as it's pulled back. Bob is surrounded by two tall figures, both who resemble some of the boys on my wall back home.
My hands come to cover my face as shock, fear, excitement and even embarrassment washes over me. Footsteps are heard and hand is placed on my knee, the other pulling my hands off my face. I come face to face with Bob, the two other figures are seated across from me. I have the sudden urge to shriek and cry and run over to them but I remember the situation I'm in and the urge stops.
"Are you okay? Do you feel any pain? I told you to move out of the way." He scolds at me while handing me an ice pack.
"I didn't know the door was going to open in my face," I say in defense to Bob.
Someone clears their throat causing both Bob and I to turn our attention to the two figures in front of us.
"Look ma'am I'm sorry that I hit you with the door I'm-"
"Did you just call me ma'am?" I interrupt one of the two sitting across.
"I'm sorry angel, it's just that you took a hard fall that I thought you fell from heaven," the black haired one says.
"What the fu-Calum you idiot, you're such an idiot," the red haired one mumbles to himself.
"Oh I'm sorry that my pick-up line wasn't up to your standard Mr.I'm-so-punk-rock-cause-I-dye-my-hair," the black haired one named Calum mocks his red haired friend.
"Tell me that pick-up line was terrible. Just admit it was bad," the red haired friend asks me.
"What pick-up line? i didn't even know one was intended." I tel him as a small chuckle follows.
"I'm Michael."
"I'm Sienna."
"Oh do I need to do an introduction too?" The boy sitting next to Michael chirps in. "I'm Calum by the way."
"Also known as the dickhead that hit you with the door," Michael says.
"So," Bob says cutting the tension between the two boys." Do any of you guys know where the other two are?"
"Last time I checked Luke was looking for his phone," Michael says.
"Ashton was in the bathroom or he could be making another video in the other room," Calum notes.
"Aw that's so cute," I admit to the two boys.
"What's so cute?" Calum asks me.
"The fact that you guys take care of each other. You're like one family, it's sort of cute."
"You're sort of cute." Michael stated.
A giggle leaves me as I ask him ," Is that your pick-up line?"
"Not at all. Wanna hear it?" He asks as he stands up. He claps his hands before he fixes his hair. "Okay so let's pretend that Calum here is the girl. So I approach her and we introduce each other and blah blah blah so then when I think I have her I ask her if she's ever kissed a bunny on the nose," he jams his hands inside his pockets and pulls them out, "Then I say 'Would you like to?' "
"Woah Mikey that was just absolutely lame." Calum announces.
"I'm sorry Calum I can't hear you over the size of your ego," Michael barks back to Calum.
The bus door opens as the red head from earlier on comes up with a tall blond boy clinging onto her arm. They walk in with linked arms, laughs coming out from both of their mouths. Everyone focuses their attention to the two of them. It gets quiet after the two immediately notice the attention and move away from each other. The blond boy looks around before his blue eyes land on me. I awkwardly shift my feet around and pretend to be entertained by the guitar wedged in between the couches. He waves his hand in front of me and I advert my attention to him.
"I'm Luke." He reported.
"And I'm a fluffy unicorn, I already knew who you were." I pointed out.
"Right how could I forget that you're a fangirl." He says as he tilts his head and smirks.
And that is how Luke Hemmings made my pants disappear in 5 seconds.
