Chapter Fourteen – “I really like you.”

By the time it was already 4 PM and we just decided to rest in my room.  We did the usual, we had that girl's talk.

"So what's going on between you and Fredo, huh?" I winked. 

I had actually seen them flirting non-stop and they were about to kiss and Justin saw them and he ruined their moment. 

Caitlin blushes and gets all shy. Before she could reply anything, my phone started ringing and it was from Ryan.

"Hey Ryan! Whar's up?" I asked while just smiling at Caitlin.

"Um Vanessa can you meet me at the hotel lobby please? Its important." He asked nervous.

"Sure. I'll be there in 5." I answered and hung up the call before saying a "bye" to him.

"Ryan has something important to tell so he has called me to meet him." I explained Caitlin.

"Oh yeah sure go ahead. I'll meet you later." She smiled and we left the room. Caitlin went to the boy's room where they were playing video games and I headed towards the hotel's lobby.

Pressing the elevator button, the elevator's door opened up and I entered the elevator.

After a minute, I reached the lobby and Ryan was no where in sight.

After a few minutes he finally came and looked all nervous. We went to the hotel's garden area and Ryan just stood there.

He took out a rose and sat down on his knees.

Oh god! What is he going to do?

"Vanessa amazing and perfect to me. I really like you Vanessa." Ryan said.

"Will you uh g-go out with m-me?" Ryan asked with a nervous smile on his face.

“Ryan, um are you serious?” I asked shocked.

“Yes I am very serious. I like you, Vanessa.” Ryan confessed.

“Ryan I-I uh ne-ed some time to think.” I said honestly.

Ryan’s face made a nervous, disappointed and hurt look.

“Yeah, take your time.” Ryan said. I smiled at him lightly and went back into my room.

Yesterday when Ryan proposed me, it was all so shocking and confusing. I mean I just look at him like – just friends and nothing more or nothing less.

I just asked him to give me some time to think because I didn’t wanted to hurt his feelings at that point of time.

But after like 14 hours of thinking, I was sure that I had to say ‘no’ because if I said ‘yes’, it would be heartbreaking for him to know that I don’t like him that way and I accepted his proposal because he might feel bad. No, I am not doing this.
