"I'm just ready for you to come home babe"I said sitting next to his hospital bed after the crash he just in the worst mood "Aniyah has ben doing great in school babe " I spoke to him he just sits staring it's like the world moves and his body sits there I can't help but cry "come on you gonna be late " my mom called standing at the door I kiss him and he smiles a lil I wipe my tear and crack a smile "I love you Ayleo " I say walking out the door "he's holding you back don't you see " she says placing her hand on my arm I snatch my arm from her "he's not " I said with an attitude "you spend all your time up here with a damn vegetable " she said shacking her head "don't speak like that about him!" I said getting loud as the elevator door opens everyone looking at us I walk out and storm the opposite way "where you going!" She screams I flick the finger and keep walking
"Mommy"Amiyah runs to me and hugs me "miss if you want your daughter stay in the school you will have to pick her up on time " her teacher barks at me I rolled my eyes "yeah okay " I grabbed her hand and begin to walk "how's daddy" she asked "he's uh he's fine how was school "
"You know you don't have to lie to me mama "she said folding her arms I couldn't help but smile at her "he's hanging in there princess that's all that matters "
"You told him the news yet ?"she said pulling both sides of her mouth to a high smile as we walk in the ice cream shop we walk in and we order "I have not " I said taking a seat my phone begin to ring "yes' I'll be on my way" I hung up and "we gotta take it to go" I said rushing up grabbing our things I ran out to the nearest car and we made our way to the hospital
"Sir can you please sit down " the nurses struggle with Ayleo "get out my face damn" he says I run over to him and help him sit down "I said I'm fine I'm ready to go " he said with an attitude " "we'll take it from here "I said leading the nurses out "I wanna go home "he said raising his voice "hi daddy " Amiyah says climbing on the bed hugging him tight "I missed you so much " he said kissing her forehead "mommy has news!" She blurred out with a smirk on her face
