I knew he was following closely behind me, but I didn't give him a second thought. My mind was set on telling Karly, that I couldn't go through with this. It was absolutely insane.

I found her drinking coffee, and talking to some lady that had to be in her mid 20s.

"Karly, can I please speak to you?" I asked, catching her off guard, almost making her spill her coffee.

"Uh, yes," She told me, then turned back to the girl she was talking to. "Tell them I need it by Tuesday. Thanks Shannon."

"I can't do this." I said, once Shannon was out of ear shot.

"Jasmine-"

"No, I swear, I'll end up killing him."

"Oh, is that a threat?" Shawn said behind me. I had forgotten he was there.

"No, sweetheart," I turned around so we were face to face, a smirk on my face. "It's a promise."

His own smirk turned into an amused smile. "Oh, really?"

I rolled my eyes at him and turned back to Karly. She had this weird smile as she stared at us.

"What?" I asked, annoyance clear in my voice. She ignored it though.

"See, you already have the chemistry."

"What chemistry?" I rolled my eyes, and crossed my arms across my chest. "Is that we're calling hate?"

She rolled her eyes at me, and stared to walk away.

"You're not getting out of it. And that's final. Paul or I, will text you with details, of where you're going later on."

I watched as she walked away from me. If I were a cartoon, you'd be seeing smoke coming out of my ears right about now. I was beyond pissed. How could they do this to me? I just wanted to make music! I didn't sign up for-

"You're shaking." A voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

I looked down at my hands, and sure enough, I was shaking.

"Well, I'm pissed." I turned around to face him.

He had an amused expression on his face, making my anger double by the minute.

"I can see." He smirked. "Come on, it's not gonna be that bad. I'm sure you're not as boring as they say you are."

I rolled my eyes, and walked away from him. I was afraid of punching him in the middle of our label. I would be in so much trouble for that.

Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I quickly took it out, and cringed at the name that popped up.

Karly: Get out of here with Shawn. There will be paparazzi out there, make sure you're holding hands and acting chummy. Shawn will be dropping you off at home. Your official date will be tonight at 8.

My hands tightened around my phone.

"Come on." Shawn said, passing by me. "The sooner we get out of here, the better."

I sighed and followed behind him. As we passed the halls, I was thinking of ways I could get out of this. But I came up with nothing. I didn't want to lose my contract with this label. And by doing that, I knew I would be burning bridges with other labels and producers.

I sighed again, I guess I'll just have to suck it up, it wouldn't be that bad..... right?
