The Duke of Cambridge
Looked majestic and so proud
Showed George to the crowd
Duchess Kate relieved
Not windy like Wellington
No fashion faux pas
Bright-eyed little prince
Did the bright sun make him wince?
Too hard on his eyes
What to give a prince?
Especially a baby
They made a good choice
George liked his stuffed toy
He smiled at it with pleasure
A gift to treasure
Will they take it home?
To amuse him on the jet
Or will they forget
And leave it behind
Lovable furry wombat
