Chapter 7

Kyle's POV

Once my parents were asleep I turned my lamp on and grabbed my sketchbook and pen to start writing down my plan to get me and Y/N alone to talk, I knew if I could get her on her own she would listen to what I have to say, she's too well natured and then I can find out the truth of why she hasn't been talking to me, I knew it was to do with Cartman but I had to be sure. After about an hour of thinking I finally thought of an idea and started writing down the instruction to pass to Stan. Once done I lay back down after I turned my lamp off and slept the remainder of the night.

Y/N POV

Tossing and turning most of the night dreaming dreams of Kyle, I know he's wondering why I've stopped talking to him but it's his own fault for taking the game too serious but when I see his cute face I can't help myself. Awake before even my alarm goes off I decided to have a shower before school getting out just as my alarm goes off. I dry my hair and then quickly get dressed and head down for breakfast. Once I was finished having Lucky Charms I walk to school with Clyde and Craig meeting Token and Tweek on the way to school, and once in side I head straight to class like I have been doing ever since I joined the humans, but today was different somehow I didn't know why but I felt today was going to be a day to remember. As more and more pupils came in I could hear them talking about a new couple but I couldn't hear make out the names as they weirdly went quiet every time I looks their way, besides that class went on as normal. After class I stayed and helped our teacher clean up before heading out for lunch, I walked through the hall to my locker to drop off my books so I didn't have to jingle them and my lunch tray. I put in the combination: 1-12-42 and it popped open but to my surprise something fell out and slide right in front of my feet.

"Huh?" I exclaimed tiling my head curious to what it was and how it got into my locker. I quickly putt my books on the shelf and then bent down and picked the envelope up that simply stated my name this made me wondering why it had my name on it but I quickly shrugged and started to open the folded letter and began to read.

'Dear Y/N, Meet me at the water fountain down by the park after school. From, your secret admirer'

"Secret admirer?" I repeated to myself as something snapped into my head, the kids earlier where talking about a new couple maybe they meant me and someone else, someone was going to ask me out? But who? Ugh! Not knowing is gonna drive me insane!" I groaned as I closed my locker door and walked to the mess hall as I sighed. I guess I'm just gonna have to wait till after school to find out.

Kyle's POV

I hope my idea worked I would have to wait and see I guess, but Y/N is smart maybe she's already worked it out? *sighs* I just have to believe in myself like Stan said it's our only shot right now. I sat on the balcony of the fountain listening to the calming waters as I watched the park entrance for Y/N I just had to get her to talk to me, Stan said as soon as he got home he would start his quest to get - wow. I stop thinking as I'm paralysed by Y/N's beauty it's been so long since I've actually seen her smile, maybe she's excited to see who her secret admirer is, wait I should of brought something with me! I quickly snap out of my trance and find my eyes land on Forget me nots I pick one and hold it behind my back starting to feel the nerves build up.

Y/N's POV

The bell rang, it was time to meet this admirer of mine, I did think it was going to be a prank maybe Kenny ? Was going to push her into the fountain? It had to be who would like her that much.

"Y/N you wanna come to my house and play video games?" Craig asked snapping me away from my thoughts.

"Oh sorry Craig maybe some other time, I have to head somewhere, I'll catch you guys later" I said as I waved bye before running off to the fountain in the park. She entered the park a couple of pre-schoolers playing on the jungle gym as their parents chatted, she didn't pay them much thought as they didn't to her while she walked passed them and down the path where the fountain stood. I wouldn't have to wait much longer now. Inching my way, getting closer with each step as I started to see a figure in the distance. As I got closer I could see what the figure was wearing; Green hat with ear flaps, bright Orange jacket wrapped around his body- no it was. I stopped a few steps away from Kyle wearing a nerves look. Nothing was said, I and Kyle stood our eyes frozen on each others, it seemed like minutes before Kyle plucked up the courage to talk.
