Jayden's p.o.v.

Oh no. Who is she? Why is she here? Is she dangerous? I don't think she is? But what if she is? She makes me feel calm. But what if it's a trick? What if she is trying to make me feel comfortable and then she hurts me.  What if she takes me back? No, we can't go back! What are we going to do!?

*First, you are going to calm down.
And second, I don't know. We aren't healed completely so we can't run away. Let's stay for a little bit. I don't think she is going to hurt us.*

Ok I trust you...

Allanah's p.o.v.

"Hey it's ok. I won't hurt you. You're safe here." I said very slowly with my hands up.

He nodded his head while scooting to the other side of the bed. I frowned but quickly covered it up with a smile.
"What's your name?" I asked him softly.

He sat there, not meeting my eyes. Does he not talk?

"Can you not speak?" I asked.

He shook his head.Why couldn't he speak?

"Um, can you write?" I said.

He nodded his head happily. I rushed over to the nightstand to grab paper and a pen. I handed him the pen and paper and sat down. He looked adorable as I watched him write his name down. After he finished he handed the paper to me.

~Jayden. My wolf's name is Shadow.~

His name was Jayden. I already loved his name. It just fits him.

"Well, my name is Allanah." I said with a smile.

He smiled back at me! I literally think my heart just exploded! His smile is so cute! Just the way his plump, soft looking baby pink lips form into a smile melts my heart.

*I just want to kiss those lips!* I hear her say.

Dang girl, you sound like a horny she-wolf in heat!

*I know you were thinking the same thing.*

I internally rolled my eyes. I could practically hear the smirk in her voice.

Just be quiet!

I quickly cut off the link before she could say anything else. I focused my attention back on Jayden.

"Do you know how you got here?" I asked.

His expression turned dark. He shook his head. Tears started pooling out of his eyes. His breath quickened and he was shaking.

"Hey, hey it's ok. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked you that." I said. Remorse filled my words.

He stopped crying. He gave me a shocked look. He hesitantly picked up the pen and paper and started writing. When he finished he handed me the paper.

~Why are you being so nice to me. No one is ever nice to me~

I was speechless. How am I supposed to tell him we are mates!?

*Um tell him that we're soul mates and we'll be together forever?*

I can't do that! He'll freak out!

*You might as well get it done now.*

Ugh fine! I'll do it...

*Good girl.*

You shut up...

I cut the link so I wouldn't have to hear her annoying voice. Now I just have to figure how to tell him that we're mates.

"Jayden, do you know what mates are?" I asked.

He shook his head, but curiosity danced in his eyes.

"Well, mates are basically soul mates. They are paired up by the moon goddess. They are made for each other. Having a mate is one of the best things that can happen to someone. It's like you find your other half. When mates touch, they feel sparks. It feels amazing! It feels like tiny fireworks are dancing on your skin. And when you smell your mate, it is the most divine smell ever! They are protective and possessive of each other. They always feel safe around each other. They always protect and love each other. No one would let their mate get hurt.  Even if they have to go against an alpha. That's how powerful their love is. They would do anything for their mates. Even if it hurts themself in the end."

When I turned to look at him, I could see happiness and excitement in his eyes when I told him about mates, but there was  also sadness in them. I need to tell him now.

"And that's what you and me are. We are mates." I said extremely slow.

Shock was written all across his face. He was so shocked that he passed out. Oh sh*t.
