Misteria's time alone

(Snow and the others left for the lodge a few hours ago. Ali is out and Misty is home by herself.)

*Misteria's POV*

I sat on the couch in silence. It has be ages since I was left alone in the house with no one but myself for company. It felt odd but it's not like Ali wasn't going to come back. She was just out at her office, working late as usual. I swear that girl is the complete opposite of us, a workaholic, but she is crazy and we love her. I just wish Snow wasn't all the way out at the lodge. Who know what could happen!

I knew I needed something to take my mind off worrying, so I go up and made a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. Once it was made, I poured it into an adorable Ice Bear mug. The main mugs were a set of three, so we had Grizzly, Pan-Pan and Ice bear. They had been a moving gift from Snow's Mom and I loved them all so much, but we had each agreed to choose one which would be 'our mug'. Of course I had chosen Ice bear, he is like the BEST!

Once finished, I carried the mug back into the living room where I put Netflix onto the massive TV. I hadn't caught up with the latest series of, well, anything really, so I just clicked on the first series to pop up onto the screen.

It was good to watch TV with hot chocolate but I couldn't shake the sense that something bad was going to happen. The early morning silence didn't help either. I just couldn't get rid of it.

Without Another word, I got up and walked to the kitchen. My footsteps echoed around the hall, illuminating the silence that stretched around me like a glove. But as I placed my mug onto the side counter, there was a knock at the door. The silence evaporated into a cloud of nothing.

"That was weird" I sat aloud to myself, the thought of what just happened still pacing its was through my mind. "Better go get the door..."

And then that moment was forgotten, written into a discarded thought.
