#1: Drip

I can feel the seeping pain from your heart.
I can see the water flowing from your eyes.
I know you hide everything that drips.
You yourself, are becoming liquid.
You are flowing away from everything you've ever known.
Leaving it all behind, as if it never had meaning.
I noticed when you started to drown.
I jumped in your river, to find that you didn't drown.
You were your own river, drowning yourself.
You wanted to escape everything that drips, by removing yourself.
I hope all the times I told you, "I love you" haven't gone missing into the river that is your mind.
I can't save you when you won't save yourself.
My words were the only thing I didn't find in your river.
I hope you know, even now, I love you.
