I was surfing when I saw this beautiful tail in the water. It was sea green and masculine, not like any other that I know of. That's when I saw him. A merman, I believe, I've only read about them. He had the most amazing eyes, sea green like his tail. He had raven black hair, and even though he was underwater, I could tell that his hair would be windswept and untamable like the sea. He smiled and sped away in the water. I just stared the way he went for a minute, then I went ashore.
Percy
I was swimming to Montauk to see my mom for a week and as I was passing Long Island Sound, I saw this beautiful girl, she had her honey blonde princess curls pulled back into a ponytail, and she had calculating, stormy grey eyes. Our eyes met, and I smiled before speeding away to see my mom.
