As time went on life became so much easier. I began to become more easy and so did Jerry. Sometimes that thought would cross his mind but he would never be so hell bent on the idea. I made that stop by hanging out with Jerry more than Dick, not "leading" Dick on as they said I did, and being more like a girlfriend by being a lot more lovey dovey. Which I'm okay with just to make him more tamable.
Before I used to go against Jerry all the time just to make Dick not feel unwanted, but now I'm always showing him off and it seems that Dick doesn't care.
Besides, he recently started seeing a girl, Charlotte May. He had said before that she wasn't his type but after a while he grew to like her after being science partners with her. He asked me how to ask her out and I just told him don't sugarcoat it and just say it. It worked for Jerry it should work for Dick, and it did. Now they've been together for two weeks.
She's really pretty. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale with natural pink cheeks. Her lips are always painted red and her hair pinned up as if she were going to prom. She has the whitest teeth and the straightest. Plus, a curvy body that suits her tall stature. I'll admit I'm a little jealous of her looks, even though Jerry tells me that I'm more beautiful every day when I complain about how Dick is never talking about anything other than her.
Not to mention, she is very smart. Almost as smart as Dick and a good conversationalist. Telling us stories of her travels to South America, Africa, and the islands because her dad is some type of scientist.
"Isn't she great?" Dick once asked me when we were playing baseball.
She also is a quick learner, but still not as good as me at this one game.
"Sure," I replied with a stink face.
"What?" He asked scrunching his face in concern.
"Nothing," I lied.
"She's not as good as you, no need to be jealous."
"I'm not jealous, and of course I'm better than her. I'm better than you," I bragged.
"Oh yeah," he mocked and started poking at my ribs.
"Stop," I bend over and laugh, "that tickles."
"Oh yeah," he says again and keeps poking.
I run away from him laughing and he chases after me. He soon catches me with a quick scoop of his hand and lifts me up, with his face facing mine.
"Put me down," I laugh.
He pulls me closer and replies, "no."
His head touching mine.
"No really, Jerry will get mad."
"You think I care?" He smiles.
"Charlotte?"
He puts me down, "right, Charlotte."
He presses his lips together, puts his hand in his pockets, and walks away. I look around to see Jerry staring right at me and I just shrug in confusion.
I know Dick still likes me and I know it's bad, but something in me hopes that it will stay that way with or without Charlotte.

"Is that weird mom?" I explain my thinking to mom.
"It's not weird, every girl wants to be loved," she shook here head, "but it's bad. Don't cheat."
"I'd never do that, mom, I know better. It's just weird for me you know. These twins have made my life complicated."
"No, honey, you made your life hard. Pick one and stick to it, I'm pretty sure dad and I taught you that."
"I did, it's still hard."
"I'm no good at this, hon, ask your dad for advice. Call him from work or something."
"Mom, why do I even try."
She shrugs, "don't know. Maybe cause you love me," she smiles handing me a plate of vegetables, "eat up."
