I sighed as the flight attendant said the flight was over. Unbuckling, I grabbed my backpack, slinging it over my shoulders. I then made my way off the plane, enjoying how I was on ground once again. I hate flying but I only came here for my brothers.

Logan and Jake Paul.

I grabbed the handle of my suitcase and began pulling it behind me as I searched for one of my brothers. "Emma!" A familiar voice called out. I spun around to see both my brothers standing there with grins on their faces. I grinned back, leaving my suitcase behind me as I ran to them.

"Logan! Jake!" I said, laughing as they took turns hugging me. Aww, how sweet. They were alone for the moment. I believe that they both have lile a bunch of friends. Jake got my suitcase and we all walked out together, getting into Logan's Yeti. "So, who am I staying with first?" I asked as I got in the back. Logan and Jake looked at each other.

"Well, we planned on me first then Jake." Logan replied, smiling at me as he drove out of the airport parking alot. For the first time in forever, my brothers were sitting in the same car without being at each other's throats. I think that they are doing it for me. I nodded, looking out the window. My phone dinged and I unlocked my phone.

Mae: Are you in LA yet????

I laughed. Mae is my best friend and she moved here a month ago. I couldn't move here until I got everything sorted out back in Ohio.

Me: Yes, I am. Want to meet at that one ice cream shop in ten?

Mae: Dave's Ice Cream? Yah, that works for me.

Me: K, see you there.

I turned my phone off and looked at Logan. "Hey Logan, can you drop me off at Dave's Ice Cream first?" I asked him. He seemed confused.

"Depends. What are you going to do there?" I had to giggle. My brothers are so over protective.

"Remember Mae?" Logan thought hard for a moment before nodding. "Yah, well she lives here now and wants to meet there."

"Ok, just text me when you me to pick you up." I nodded and hopped out of the car seeing as we were already here. I waved goodbye as they drove away. Turning on my heel, I walked into the small cozy ice cream shop. I looked around the small room before my eyes landed on a small brunette. Grinning, I sat in front of her and she jumped.

"Gosh Em! You scared me!" Mae exclaimed but was grinning like a maniac. She reached over the table and hugged me, which I gladly returned. When we pulled away, I saw my favorite ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough sitting on the table. Mae had mint chocolate chip.

"I missed you." I told her, watching as she smiled behind her mouthful of ice cream.

"I missed you too." Mae replied, her mouth still filled with ice cream and I almost missed it. I would've missed it if I hadn't been used to it. She does this alot. ALOT.

"So, how's life here in LA?" I asked, taking a bite of my delicious ice cream. Mae smirked.

"Well, it's great. Logan hasn't realized that I've been here yet and I have a -" I cut her off, already knowing what she was going to say.

"New crush." I finished for her, a smirk on my face. Mae stuck her tongue before we burst into a fit of giggles. We got many weird looks from the people in other booths but we ignored them. I was enjoying the time I had with her. God I've missed this crazy woman. "Who is it?" Mae blushed, something that doesn't happen often. Ohh, this is serious, she blushed.

"Well, he is famous, and his name is Jack Avery." Mae blurted before blushing even more. I laughed, enjoying as she blushed even harder. I quickly grabbed my phone and snapped a picture while she wasn't looking. Perfect blackmail. Yes, it is normal for best friends to blackmail each other. Mae then sighed.

"But he doesn't even that I exist, that's the sad part." I frowned. It was rare when Mae was sad and I hated every moment that she was sad.

"It'll work out someway. I have a good feeling." I ressured her. I then stuck my finger in her ice cream before smearing it all over her face. Mae gasped and playfully glared at me. Then she stuck her finger in mine and did the same to me. This continued for a good thirty minutes before the manager told us to clean up our mess. Laughing the whole time, we cleaned up our mess before going to the bathroom and cleaning ourselves up.

It was dark by the time we had left the ice cream shop. "Want a ride home?" Mae asked as we stood by her car. I had just texted Logan so I shook my head.

"No, Logan is coming." I told her. Mae nodded before a yawn escaped her mouth.

"Well, I have work tomorrow, so I better go. You'll be fine until he gets here right?" Mae questioned as she opened her car door. A small smile formed on my lips at my worried friend.

"No, I'll be fine. I'll talk to you tomorrow." I watched as my best friend drove down the street and out of sight. I sighed before sitting down on the curb, letting my thoughts surround me in the silence of the city.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing out here all alone?" A voice asked from behind me. I turned my head and looked up to see a boy around my age, which is eighteen, standing there. He had a smile on his face. The boy sat beside me on the curb and just looked into the night.

I happened to make out some features of him in the dark. He had stunning blue eyes that would attract any girl and short brown hair. He was hot, I'll give him that. I felt like I should know him but I couldn't place a name with a face.

"Waiting for my ride." I answered after a moment of silence. The mystery boy nodded before his phone went off. He groaned before standing up.

"Well it was nice meeting you mystery girl." The boy told me. I nodded before seeing Logan's car driving down the rode.

"You too, mystery boy." I replied with a smirk. He smirked back before walking away. As I went to walk to Logan's car, he suddenly turned around.

"I hope to see you around sometime!" The mystery boy shouted to me. I smiled, how sweet.

"It'd be great!" I shouted back. The boy smiled before walking back. I smiled to myself as I got into the passenger seat.

"How was your night?" Logan asked as he drove towards his apartment. I smiled even bigger, if possible.

"It was amazing." I replied, looking out the window as buildings were left in the dust. All I could think about was that boy. I couldn't wait to tell Mae tomorrow. She'd literally scream.
