Bakugo didn't know what had gotten into him all of a sudden. One second he was stubbornly minding his own business and the next thing he knows, he's telling Todoroki everything he had tried so hard to hide. Something was wrong, something was terribly wrong, and it was all because of that fucking soul mark.

Because of it, Bakugo couldn't go a single day without being conscious of Todoroki, thoughts of him constantly swirling around his mind. Where was he right now? Does he watch me when I fight? Would I be able to see him today?

It hadn't even been that long and Bakugo had already strayed him from his original path, the one goal he had been working towards his whole life. It pissed him off. He would be number one, that was his only reason for being at U.A. in the first place. No way would he let that half-and-half bastard get in his way.

For once in his life, Bakugo didn't want a soul mark. All his life, even though he denied it, he wanted a soul mark. It was natural for any human to want to fit in and have something special just for them.

But Todoroki wasn't Bakugo's. Todoroki belonged to Deku first, Bakugo was just his sloppy seconds and thats how it would always be.

No matter how much he wanted that to change.

Bakugo and Todoroki started to walk with one another. It was a seemingly endless cycle created because of the supplementary lessons they had to attend with one another. Bakugo thought of it as his own personal test of strength as he tried to withstand Todoroki's intense stare that stayed on him every moment they were together.

He was sick of it. Having to deal with Todoroki everyday left him with a cold heart as he desperately tried to avoid talking at all costs. He had managed to hold off Todoroki's eager attempt to pursue him, but he also revealed his trump card.

Yes, he was Todoroki's soulmate. It was confirmed three nights ago and ever since then Bakugo had been dying inside. What would Todoroki do next?

"Bakugo," Todoroki spoke, and Bakugo froze. Was Todoroki finally going to give him his response? Would he reject him? Of course he would, no one wanted someone like Bakugo. But maybe he did want Bakugo. What would that mean? What would Bakugo's response be? What should he say?

"Lets fight."

"...the fuck?"

So now they were on the school's training fields, Todoroki looking completely serious about his offer. Bakugo obviously said yes to the fight, this might help him get this cold feeling out of his heart, but he couldn't completely trust Todoroki. There must be something else the man wanted.

"What do really want Todoroki?" Bakugo asked, throwing his things aside and standing on one side of the court.

"I want to fight you, that is all," Todoroki replied, following suit with Bakugo. He stood opposite of him, rolling up the sleeves of his white button up and loosening his tie. He soon discarded the article, staring Bakugo straight in the eyes.

Bakugo narrowed his eyes, silently questioning him."Fine," he finally said, wide grin crossing his face."I'll crush you!"

One moment they were facing each other and the next they were clashing quirks, both moving quickly to pin the other down. Bakugo didn't know what this fight meant, but he wanted to win, so he focused his attention of Todoroki's main weakness, his flame side. Since it was recently required, he didn't have full control over it which meant Bakugo had to utilize this opportunity as much as possible.

But it was like Todoroki could read his mind and predict his attacks, countering all of them without fail. He had been studying Bakugo, how he acts and moves, all for this moment. He would not allow himself to fail.

Bakugo went for his flame side again, and Todoroki struck Bakugo with a suprise attack with his ice. And as Bakugo was hit back, he felt as if something inside him had shattered and crumbled into pieces right in his hand.

But he was still intact.

"Fuck," Bakugo seethed, wiping a bit of blood off his lip."Is that all you got?!"

Todoroki stared him down."Far from it."

Bakugo seethed, coming at Todoroki again but this time it was like something started to hold his whole body back, not letting him use his full power. In pure anger, Bakugo's attacks seemed to get sloppier.

Todoroki almost felt himself smile as he relentlessly threw attacks at Bakugo who was now on the defense. His walls were breaking. Slowly, step by step, he was giving in to Todoroki and letting go.

His anger, his sadness, his stubborn nature, all his emotions were being shown to Todoroki on a flat screen t.v. like a documentary of his life. Bakugo was showing these things to Todoroki without even realizing it, because he wanted to. Todoroki was breaking down his walls and uncovering Bakugo's heart that was meant for him.

But Bakugo was a stubborn man and wouldn't give in so easily. He wanted to fight to the bitter end, so Todoroki would let him until he was underneath him, panting heavily with sweat dripping down his body as he glared heatedly at Todoroki.

Todoroki gave out a sigh of relief, almost collapsing on top of Bakugo."I win, Bakugo," he mumbled breathlessly.

Bakugo let his eyes widen, heart pounding a mile a minute as he stared in awe at the smile that formed on Todoroki's face."Y-yeah, you won," Bakugo couldn't help but croak out, emotions moving through him like a flood. What had just happened? Why did he feel so good after losing so poorly?

"What do you want, Todoroki?" He asked again, not fully sure why he even posed the question.

Instead of answering Todoroki leaned forward, pushing their lips together in a short kiss."I love you, Bakugo. And I want you to be mine."

Bakugo laid there breathless. This was the first time he had felt like this, but what of it? What was he supposed to do with this feeling?

"What do you want, Bakugo?"
