Hello and goodbye Peter Parker

Second encounter

Four years, and a missing set of parents later

age 7

"Mom mom mom!!!" You said "You need to sign my permission slip or I won't be able to go to the zoo and see the monkeys! Mom!"  You pulled her into the hallway at your new school

"Momma our school and Midtown get to go this time! Come on sign it and I'll be able to learn how to hang like a monkey. Please?" Your mother sighs "Stay near the teacher okay?" You nod fiercely and she shakes her head but signs the slip anyway and on you go into the faded orange school bus.

Peter's pov

"Now I know I'm not your mother peter but you know I try my best. Your permission slip to the zoo is signed and you'll be on your best behavior won't you?." The dark haired seven year old nodded his head and smiled

"Of course Aunt May and I'll be able to check out the neat lion habitat they have."

Our dear Peter Parker lost his parents but he always believed they would come back for him. Oh how he counted the days. It's only been 123 days since they left him here but they'll return.

He waited for the bus with the rest of the kids with Ned, his best friend next to him.  He wished he could have more than one friend but no one wanted a orphan as a friend. Ned didn't mind much,for he wanted a friend also.

It was a busy day at the zoo multiple schools visiting. It was so chaotic that you'd lose a kid... or two in the mess of things.

Peter hopped off the bus with Ned hot on his heels and saw the teacher gathering the rest of his classmates. All of a sudden Flash walks by and pushes him down into the sidewalk below.

Great another beating you thought but then a angelic voice rings through the air. "Leave him alone idiot what did he ever do to you Flash?" It was a little girl with y/hc hair in pigtails.

Flash groans "Hey cuz I can do whatever I want and my reason for doing what I do to puny Parker is because he was born. So that gives me the right to mess with him. Now move and beat it will ya?" So the angel was related to the monster. I guess she wouldn't be able to save me.

"No Flash move please go see the monkeys I'll deal with him please for me?" So now not only flash would beat me up but now a little girl will. This is the worst day ever.

"You need help getting up?" She says after flash leaves holding out a hand for me to grab. I finally look at her face and I feel something in my stomach. Butterflies. She's so pretty. I grab her hand and she smiles at me.

"Hi my name is y/n and believe it or not I'm not anything like my cousin Flash I promise. Now let's go see the otters Parker." Her eyes glistened as she  talked and her smile made me smile despite my skinned knee and the bleeding.

Ned appears suddenly "Come on Peter we gotta go the teacher will find out we are missing." Leave it to Neddy to come when I finally get a girl to talk to me.

The girl, y/n doesn't go to our school so she must go to Saint Mary's prep for girls. I just have a feeling that we would be friends forever. The y/hc haired girl waited for my answer.

"Ned I'm going with y/n she saved me from Flash I'll find you guys later."  Ned looks worried but runs off to join our class.

The girl pulls me to the otters exhibit where there was no one in site. she was all smiles and if you looked long enough you'd swear she had a halo around her head.

She looked at the otters but I looked at her and analyzed her the freckles on her face and she looked at me.I quickly turned to see the otters.

She laughed and pointed at one of them being cute. But the only thing I thought cute was her though.

She smiled at me and told me she liked being alone because she was always around people.I told her I didn't like to be alone and I wished I had more people around. She smiled sadly at me and I look away.

At that moment she promised me I'd never be alone. She promised to be my friend from now on. We pinky swore and smiled at each other. After that we just stood there for a long time enjoying each others company.

Then all of a sudden we hear our names being called. We look at each other and then we run. I honestly couldn't even tell you where we were running to.

I fall to the floor and y/n stops and goes to me and helps me up. I smile and we continue our journey.

"Peter I wish I could go to your school, but daddy told me boys have cooties is that true?" She says and I laugh "No but Flash definitely does!" She laughs and smiles. "I'm sure that's true." It feels like I've known her all my life. I wish it was true. Despite her being related to Flash.

Finally we catch up with my class and y/n tries to blend in but Flash ruins it. "Y/n! Get your butt to your class or I'll tell on you and you'll never be able to go anywhere ever!" He yells. Y/n starts to tear up. That's it he can make me cry but not her. Never her.

I push Flash "Stop being a bully that's why no one like you Flash or is it Eugene? Your cousin doesn't even like you and she's related to you!" I huff out. Y/n hugs me but smiles sadly at me "I gotta go Petey. I can't get in trouble again. Goodbye Peter Parker. I'll see you around." She hugs me and waves bye.

I watch her walk away and head towards the nearest security guard. She faded in the distance and took my heart with her. Flash laughs at me "Puny pathetic Parker you'll never see her again and I'll make sure that." He walks away from me and towards the lion habitat.

But little did I know is that I'd see her a year later.
