The Contest

*Miah's pov*

"MIAH WAKE UP 5SOS IS ON THE RADIO!" My best friend Arianna yells in my ear.

"Shut up it's 6 in the morning..." I say half asleep.

"I DON'T CARE IT'S 1 IN THE AFTERNOON SOMEWHERE NOW GET UP!" Arianna still yelling and jumping on my bed.

Arianna turned up the radio all the way and was screaming the lyrics to she looks so perfect. I gave in and started screaming along with her.

"That was 5 seconds of summers new song, she looks so perfect. If you come back at noon, we have a special announcement for you 5sosers out there!" The radio dj announced. Arianna and I couldn't stop laughing because he said '5sosers.'

"OH MY GOD WHAT IF HE SAYS WE CAN GET FREE TICKETS TO THEIR CONCERT!" Arianna yelled.

"I'm pretty sure it's just gonna be a contest to win their ep. But I already own 10 copies." I say while yawning.

Suddenly I see a tweet light up on my iPhone screen that's from the 5sos band account.

@5sos:

TEXAS! Tune into 104.1 at noon! There's a huge contest for y'all to win ;-)

"ARIANNA THEY TWEETED ABOUT THE CONTEST WHAT IF IT MIGHT ACTUALLY BE A CONCERT!" I screamed excitedly.

"Maybe we shouldn't get our hopes up... We probably won't win anyway." She said while walking to her phone.

5sos has been tweeting nonstop about the contest all morning and now I'm starting to think this isn't just a free ep... The contest is gonna start in 5 minutes and I seriously might puke I'm really excited. Arianna is in her room tweeting nonstop to 5sos asking for a hint on what the contest is. But of course, 5sos won't answer.

"ARIANNA THE CONTEST IS GONNA START SOON COME HERE BRING YOUR PHONE!" I yell because I'm too lazy to get up and get her. I could hear her running down the hall and storming into my room with her phone. She turned on the radio and we were shaking because we were so excited. The song finally ended and the radio dj started to announce it finally.

"It's the time you've been waiting for 5sos fans! The special contest is... You know what? I'll just tell the boys to announce it for me. Hey boys you're on with 104.1!" Suddenly Arianna and i started screaming.

"HEY GUYS ITS 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER HERE!" They said in unison. "So guys, the contest is to... go to a beach house with us for a month! It'll be in Galveston with one other person of your choice!" Ashton announced.

"Be the 52nd caller and you will win!!" Michael shouted.

"We'll also DM you all the rest of the information on twitter!" Luke said excitedly.

"SO GET TO CALLING!!" Calum screamed.

Arianna and I typed in the number and waited for an answer. The first 2 times, our phones didn't even ring. But the third time Ariana's phone actually rang...

*Arianna's pov*

I was typing the number so fast and waited anxiously for an answer. My phone started to ring so I put it on speaker because I thought maybe they would answer. My palms were sweating and my lip was shaking.

"HELLO LUCKY WINNER NUMBER 52!" I heard come from my phone and Miah grabbed it to see if it was real.

"Hello?" She said with a shaky voice.

"Hi babe how ya doin!" We could hear Ashton say over the phone. Miah threw my phone and instantly started crying. I was in shock and just sat there.

"Hello..?" Luke said awkwardly. I reached for my phone and started talking.

"H-hi! I'm doing great now!" I said excitedly.

"Hey what's your name babe?" Ashton asked.

"I-I'm Arianna. Did I win?" I said sounding pretty stupid because obviously we won.

"YEAH YOU WON ARIANNA!!!" Michael shouted over the phone.

"What's your twitter and we will dm you the information." Calum said.

I gave them Miahs twitter because she was too nervous to talk so she should at least be able to DM them.

"Ok babe! We'll keep in touch! BYE!" Luke said then hang up. I dropped my phone and started crying and hugging Miah. We are actually going to meet our idols. We are actually going to stay with them for a month. This is actually happening.
