Casey wakes up to the sound of an alarm going off. She groans and shuts it off as she gets up. Looking down at her wrist, she grimaces. Blood is dried onto the cuts and they are a little swollen. Shrugging, she gets into her school uniform and shoes. Putting on deodorant and perfume, she clips on some earings and looks in the mirror.
"Eh."
Putting her timetable, student ID, her phone and earphones in her pocket, she carries her bag into the lounge room. Going back to the bathroom, she washes the cuts and brushes her teeth as she wont eat breakfast again. Going back out and walking into the kitchen, she packs her food for the day and her water bottle.
At 8:00am, she starts walking to school.
*Sorry guys. I'm gonna skip forward. I felt like it was dragging on a bit whilst writing it*
At school Casey plays handball with her friends but as she hits the ball, her jumper sleeve rolls up and shows her cuts. Squeaking and missing the ball, she rolls down her sleeve. Quickly trying to cover it up, she jumps into the last square taking her out but, by the typical laws of teenage stories, she was to slow.
"Casey, what the hell was that?"
Jesy, Casey's best friend grabbed her arm and spun her around. Looking Jesy in the eyes, Casey fights tears.
"Nothing, just scratches."
Trying to snatch her arm away, Casey jerks it away.
"That's a load of bull shit. Casey" Spinning Her back around, "Do you.... Self harm?"
