Nia's POV:
"NIA! STOP BITING YOUR NAILS!" Abby yells. Oops, I didn't realize I was doing that. I'm just so freaking nervous. Mom and Abby are having their fight soon. "NIA! AGAIN WITH THE NAILS!" Oops. Libby told me earlier how it's gonna go down. Kendall and I will start rehearsing for our duet. I'll fall, Abby will yell at me... then my mom will come down.
Yikes. Abby starts the music for our duet, and i know the plan is starting. I just try to focus on the steps. Step, step, switch leap, and... FALL! I collapse right in front of Kendall, who already knows the plan. She shrieks just like she's supposed to. Abby runs over and starts screaming about what an incompetent dummy I am and other crap like that.
I hear the door open and high heels walking across the floor. Mom yanks Abby's hair and smacks her face. Abby swings wildly, trying to land a punch. Mom pushes her to the ground and starts to kick her. GO, MOM!
