Miraculous - Superheroes Emerge

Part 4 - The first encounter

Chloe's POV

"Morning Marinette!" I said to her when I woke up.

"Ugh, mmm, morning Chloe" she replied grogily, she seemed half dead in the morning

"Come on, let's freshen up and head to school"

"Alriiiiight" she dragged her word on.

1 hour later

Marinette's POV

"Gurl. Spill. The. Deets. What's with you and Chloe? Just three days ago you were giving each other a death stare, now you're both acting like sisters"

"Alya, she is my sister now, an adopted  sister since her father has been sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, she needs someone to be beside her. Besides, she and I used to be best friends," I said before Alya cut me off in shock.

"GURL, YOU WHAT?" Alya screamed.

"Shhhh, relax Alya, yes, I used to be best friends with Chloe, she suffered hell when her mother went missing. Because of a misunderstanding, she thought I was flaunting my family to her and she started to hate me, it's really my fault for being so insensitive."

"Wow, that's rough, what made her change her mind though?"

"I don't know Alya, I really don't know, all I know is that she changed."

With those words, we both picked up our bags and ran to class.

At Class

Chloe's POV

Sabrina came to sit beside me, she handed me the homework she did for me.

"Here Chloe, I did your homework over the weekend."

"N-no thank you Sabrina, in fact, this will be the last time you have to do my homework."

"W-what Chloe?" She was shocked

"I decided to treat you like a proper friend, not a slave, I'm sorry for forcing you to do things for so long"

"Chloe..... You finally changed, thank you." Sabrina cried.

"Thank you too, for believing I could."

The class gasped, they couldn't believe it, me, Chloe boujeois was saying thank you, I started to smile.

"Alright class, be sure to hand in your homework, you have exactly 2 days to do so, class is dismissed"

I went down the steps and headed to the canteen, I had started to buy from the canteen since I didn't exactly have a chef who would serve me my food anymore.

"Hey Chloe!" It sounded like Alya.

"Hi alya" I replied.

"So, what's up with you and Marinette? You two seem like sisters now" oh boy, here we go, I guess I better answer honestly.

"Well, you see......"

I slowly blurted out the whole story, me being Marinette's Best friend when we were Young, how I thought she was being mean to me. My father being accused of murder and how I got adopted by the Dupain Chengs.

"Wow, Chloe, I'm so sorry about that, is there anything I can do to help?"

"No, no it's fine Alya, really, thanks." I smiled at Alya, she seems to have changed her perception of me, at least, I hope so.

"Well, I gotta run, see you soon Chloe"

She ran off, i'm guessing to go look for something to vlog.

Narrator's POV

Somewhere in Paris.....

"Mr Hutz, we do not approve of this behaviour, leave immediately or I WILL call the police."

"Grr, I'll get my treasure back, whether you like it or not one day."

Mr Hutz left with the curator watching him leave.

Somewhere else in Paris

"Negative emotions, Ahh, someone was prevented from getting his treasure, how infuriating." It was hawkmoth, and he was planning to Akumatise someone.

"Go my evil butterfly, go and give this person the best collector's collection!"

Mr Hutz was walking down a street, suddenly, the akuma flew right into his bag.

"Collector, this is hawkmoth, I am here to give you the ability to take back your treasure. All you have to do is get me ladybug and cat Noir's miraculouses, are you in?"

"Yes, I will get my treasure and yours too!"

Dark clouds started surrounding him, suddenly, a person stepped out, revealing a supervillain.

An hour later, at Marinette's home

Chloe's POV

"Marinette, I'm having trouble with this maths question, mind helping me please?" I asked.

"Sure Chloe, so you need to subtract 2a from this, factorise it and then equate everything to zero." She explained.

I did as she said and as expected, the answer was correct, I think I started improving too though, I got 80% on my last mathematics quiz.

We left the room and switched on the Television.

"Sweet cheese! Is that an Akumatised person?" I asked.

"Yeah, unfortunately so."

"Let's run for it!"

"Good idea"

Marinette and I booted out of the house, I quickly looked for a safe transformation spot.

"Found you dark alleyway! Pollen, Buzz On!"

I quickly transformed into my superhero form and flew out of the alleyway and towards the Akumatised person.

And I met...... Ladybug.

"Hold it there bee, what's your name?" She quickly stopped and asked me."

"Okay, that's just rude, my name is Queen Bee, and i'm a miraculous holder too, I'm pretty sure you saw the Akumatised person on television and I'm sure I don't look like him."

"Oh, right, sorry Queen Bee."

Well, at least we know Ladybug is indeed protecting Paris.

"So what do we do?"

"We chase down the Akumatised person, who I assume he's called collector as soon as we find Cat Noir, we have to work together."
