Part 5 - Third wheel?

Chloe's POV

"Somebody call my name my sweet bugaboo?"

Wait, Bugaboo? That's a wierd nickname, looks like Cat Noir is really in love with ladybug, that's for certain, I'm not sure about the other way though.

"There you are you sweet kitty, come on, let's go, we have to catch that Akuma"

"You got it M'lady!"

They raced off without me, I was left there, stunned.

Why didn't they wait for me to catch up? Cat noir didn't even give me any attention or even noticed me for that matter.

"Wait up ladybug! I'm coming!"

I decided to fly towards them, the wind direction was doing me a favor and I managed to catch up to them in time.

"Ladybug, I though we were supposed to be a team?"

"Sorry Queen Bee, I was just concerned for any innocent people the collector would attack."

"M'lady, what are you waiting fo- oh, hello there, I didn't notice you, what's your name?"

I was right! He didn't even notice me, oh well, might as well forgive him this time.

"My name is Queen bee, I have a miraculous too, I have the power of rejuvenation to restore any miraculous to their full power."

"That's impressive, come on, let's go!"

We hurried off towards the museum where the collector was last seen, he was probably stealing several valuable artifacts, and I'm not sure why, according to what I know, akumas are only meant to get things that belong...... To...... Them..... Wait, did the museum take something that belong to him? Maybe a family pot? Cultural mask?

5 minutes later.

Marinette's POV

We finally reached the museum, That took way too long, who knows where he's gone by now.

"Any idea where he's gone Cat Noir?"

"No, no idea" he replied.

"Then let's split up, Cat Noir, you take the left side of Paris, I'll take the right side." I said.

"Alright m'lady, catch you later"

Ahh adrien was always so cute whenever he was in his alter-ego form, I loved that.

Chloe's POV

Wow, they didn't even include me in their plan, I'm here to help, why won't they pay me any attention, or even simply give me something to do.

I decided to fly upwards, hopefully catch a glimpse of the collector somewhere.

"This is amazing!" I yelled as I reached to the top of the Eifel tower.

I spotted the collector, grabbing my weapon, which was a short staff which could extend like cat Noir's baton, I dialed the pre-done number of Ladybug's YoYo.

"Queen Bee, what are you doing?"

"Helping, I spotted the collector heading towards the plaza around the west side of the city."

"Oh, thank you, I'll inform cat noir to meet us there, see you!"

Finally, some appreciation and notice, ladybug was definitely a good leader, but she seemed to have chemistry only with Cat Noir, that's just upsetting.

At the plaza around 5 minutes later

"Please don't hurt me! I'll give you all my items! Please just let me go!"

"Oh, don't worry Mr curator, I won't hurt you, I just want whatever is in your bag, specifically, the nice necklace that belonged to my elders."

"O-of course! Here!"

The curator handed the collector the necklace, in which he put it in his collector's bag.

"Hold it collector!" Ladybug suddenly jumped in front of the collector and grabbed the necklace from his hand with her YoYo.

"Ladybug! I will have your Miraculouses!" Yelled the collector.

He dashed towards Ladybug and nearly punched her should cat noir not have gotten in the way with his baton.

"Not so fast Collector, she's not a collector's item!" Said cat noir as he tried to crack a pun but failed Cat -asyrophically (sorry! XD)

Chloe watched in amazement as cat noir and ladybug fought the collector, I didn't have to do much until they finally defeated him.

"Pound it!" They said as they fist bumped and hugged each other before running off.

An hour later in Marinette's home.

Chloe's POV

"I'm done for today."

"Chloe? What's wrong?" Asked pollen.

"Nothing pollen, just that, I'm not sure if I'm just a third wheel in the team, I didn't even manage to do anything when we were fighting the collector." I said sadly.

"Chloe, Ladybug and Cat Noir have already been a team for a long time, they're more used to working in a team of two instead of three and they might not understand what you think yet."

"Yeah, but, I feel as if, I'm just useless, a filler for a little more intimidation, and that's all." I replied.

"I know it's tough Chloe, but remember that a true hero never gives up although all odds are against them, this works the same for this situation, you, cat noir and ladybug have to learn to work together and overcome the odds of being in a team, sooner or later, you'll end up helping the new miraculous holders into the team as well, just remember, you are a hero, even if you helped just a bit, you still helped."

"I guess you're right pollen, thank you." I said happily.

And I'm back with this new update for this book, now, I was thinking, should I turn this book from a basic fan fiction, to an anime jumble where every single one of my favorite anime characters including the miraculous series, join together in one universe? If the book does not change, I will write a separate book including this new jumble of a universe in which you can all enjoy while I work on my other books.
