Episode 15 - Family

A/N: This is the same episode as the previous one and I have only come to realise now that it's been some time since I updated this book >_< 🙈

*barking*

Narrator: Oh! It must be Kai-ssi's pets! Seems like he really brought the dogs to the company building.

Taejoon was beyond shocked as his body jumped after hearing the dogs barking outside.

"Taejoon-ah!" Sunny laughed at the boy's expression. His eyes were opened wide as he stared at the door behind him in horror.

"Aigoo... I thought you have a puppy at home?" Tiffany pinched his cheeks.

"Jack" the baby mumbled.

The girls were bewildered as they called for their mom.

"Huh?" Taeyeon ran towards them at the speed of light, thinking something happened to Taejoon, and well, left Baekhyun standing where he was talking to Taeyeon.

"Did he just say 'Jack'? Who's Jack?" Sooyoung queried.

"Jack? He's our puppy. Why he'd mention him? Is it because of the barks he heard? You miss our little Jack don't you." Taeyeon placed Taejoon on her lap as she sat down on the floor.

"There you are noonas. I was looking for you guys." Kai made his entrance with his three dogs, Jjang Ah, Monggu, and Jjanggu.

"Yah, you're not gonna acknowledge me?!" Baekhyun walked towards Kai and the dogs who were tangling their leashes around their owner.

Instead of greeting Kai, Baekhyun greeted the dogs, with them leaping up for attention.

"Hey cuties, it's been some time since I last saw you three. Aigoo aigoo how have you been. Have you been good?" Baekhyun cooed at them.

Narrator: Someone looks jealous.

*camera zooming in on Taejoon*

Taejoon looked at how affectionate his father was towards the dogs and couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.

The moment Kai unleashed them, the boys sprinted to the girls whereas Jjang Ah opted for Taejoon. She sat between his legs and sniffed around, familiarising herself with his scent.

"Taejoon-ah! Jjang Ah loves you!" Taeyeon laughed at her son's confused face. As if in agreement, Jjang Ah licked Taejoon's face, making the baby squeal in delight. Taejoon got up, took a few steps before falling on his bum. Jjang Ah followed like how a mom would when watching over her pups.

"Isn't that just adorable~?" Tiffany said in English.

Taejoon decided to be mischievous and crawled here and there, making Jjang Ah follow him everywhere. She soon got tired and opted for the couch at a corner.

"What did you do to her?" Taeyeon was amused at her little boy. Taejoon started to giggle cutely before erupting into laughter. He threw his head backwards and his shoulders went up and down.

A knock suddenly sounded throughout the practice room. "Noona~" Chen sang as he poked his head in.

"Oh! Taejoon-ah!!!! Our cute little Taejoon! When was the last time I saw you!!" He exclaimed. Taejoon couldn't help but feel intimidated.

"Yah Kim Jong Dae, you're scaring my son." Baekhyun protectively sat in front of the little boy who curiously stuck his head out from behind his dad.

"Taejoon-ie~ uncle jongdae is here~" Chen made small steps towards the boy, making funny faces as well.

"Ahhh-iiiiiiiiiiii hegehahajhdehjskajfhdb" Taejoon laughed as he made incoherent words, blabbering away.

"See! He likes me! He like Uncle Chen the most." Chen proudly self-proclaimed. Baekhyun just rolled his eyes and he swore he saw the Jjang Gu shaking his head.

Taeyeon sat beside Baekhyun and hugged him tightly, and they were soon in their own world.

"It seems like you still need my help to take care of Taejoon don't you?" Taeyeon chuckled as she cuddled her husband.

"I guess so. It's so empty without you at home." He smiled lovingly at his wife.
