We got out and showered and cleaned up and everything then cole ended up taking a nap and I looked at the time and saw it was a little after 5 so I decided to make dinner tonight and surprise him. I headed down to the kitchen and looked around to see what we had and we really need to go grocery shopping. But thankfully I found fettuccine noodles as well as Alfredo sauce so it looks like that's what I'll be making. I grabbed the pots out and started boiling the water for the noodles and soon got to work on it. I also found garlic bread so I threw that in the oven and during the last few minutes of everything I made a salad real quick and once everything was done I set the table and just as I was done and about to head up to wake cole up I saw him standing in the doorway.
La- well hello
C- what's all this
La- I wanted to surprise you with dinner
C- well mission accomplished princess
He walked over to me and kissed me and then took a look at everything on the table
C- wow
La- it's nothing that special
C- baby I know how scared you are when it comes to using the oven so the fact you actually used it just to surprise me is pretty special
I smiled at him and kissed him one more time before walking over to grab a juice for me and to my surprise one for him as well
La- since when do you drink juice
C- it sounds good
La- haha ok
We sat down and ate and just talked. I'm so happy to have him home.
*sorry if its a little boring I'm starting to get stuck on ideas*
