I just got home from my 'Date' with Hayden. It was late and my phone started ringing, I groaned knowing that it was Nyshelle who was expecting a play by play of how this date went.

"Hey Bitch" I said answering the phone.

"Hey yourself" She answered. "So how was it? Was it super romantic? Are you guy's official now? Did he kiss you? Was it good? Is he with you right now? Oh gosh I'm an idiot I just ruined your da-"

"Whoa. No he isn't with me. It was okay, not what I expected. I guess you can say it was romantic. I don't know what we are, and no he didn't kiss me well unless the cheek counts." I answered all of her questions as best as I could.

"What happened? Tell me how it really went" She said knowing that I was trying to sound as excited as she was.

"Well he was a gentleman, he opened the doors for me and pulled pout my seat-"

"But" she cut in

"Shut it or I'm not gonna tell you, Mrs. Interrupting Cow." I said with a giggle

I could practically hear her rolling her eyes at me. "Okay, okay continue"

"So yeah he was a gentleman, but he took me to a fancy restaurant and ordered a salad for me. Like a fucking salad! Who goes on a date to a fancy restaurant and orders a salad, I could have stayed home and had one. Not to mention the fact that the waitress was practically drooling over him." I said rolling my eyes.

I heard her snicker before answering "I knew the guy was a player. But I thought he at least had game. I don't know... maybe he thought you would like him to order for you? Plus most of the girls he has dated probably only watched him eat. Just cut him some slack."

"Yeah, whatever, I guess it isn't his fault. But dude like we should have a sleepover again soon. We seriously need to watch the new season of American Horror Story."

Oh Em Gee!!! I knew you would get totally hooked on it. Plus it's always better to watch it with a friend. Sleepover next weekend?" She suggested.

"Of course! Night bitch, I'm tired talk tomorrow."I said stifling a yawn.

I was just about to put on my pajama pants when the doorbell rang. I figured it was just Elle coming over because she is crazy like that. So imagine my surprise when I open the door and am greeted with a cocky annoying idiot of a Cole.

"Hey Sunshine" He greeted as a pulled a face realizing it was him.

"Don't look so happy to see me. Anyways can I come in?" He asks.

"Yeah whatever, come in." I say opening the door wide enough to let him in. "Why are you here anyways?"

"I wanted to see you" He says looking at my uncovered legs." So I did. And I'm glad I did too"

"You're an idiot, you know that? And stop looking at my legs, my eyes are up here." I said walking into the kitchen for a cup of coffee. If I have to deal with Cole, I need my cup of coffee.

"Yeah sweet cheeks I know the female body pretty well and I know exactly where our eyes are." He said following me and taking a seat at one of the chairs in the kitchen. "Come out with me tonight" Cole says looking at me while I'm getting the mugs out for our coffee.

"Do you know what time it is? Its almost 11, where are we going to go? And besides I'm cold and tired." I filled the mugs with the warm miracle liquid and handed him his mug as I took the seat next to him.

"Just go and get dressed, I know a place. Don't worry, we won't be out long, I just want to show you something."

"Do I have to? Can't we just do this tomorrow night? I'm sure I'll be less tired and more enthusiastic about this mysterious outing."

"Stop being so difficult and go put some jeans on. It's not a formal occasion, we'll be quick. And I'm guessing your crazy curly haired friend is going to be here tomorrow."

After much protesting and a bunch of profanities I went to go put on a pair of jeans and a clean shirt with my leather jacket of course. We exited the house and Cole is walking towards his motorbike.

"We're taking the bike." I said although it sounded more like a question.

"Yeah, is that going to be a problem princess?" He said and although his back was towards me, I could feel him rolling his eyes.

"No idiot. Can I drive?" I said in a mischievous tone. Suddenly not to tired anymore.

"There is no way in hell that I am letting you drive my baby."He turned and gave me his spare helmet.

We stopped in front of an ice cream store that was surprisingly still open. Why they were open so late on a windy evening I had no idea. We entered the store and the door jingled to signal new customers. The old man behind the counter smiled at us as we approached the cashier.

"What can I get you two love birds" He asked us. I blushed and was about to correct him that we weren't in fact dating when Cole turned to me.

"What would you like baby?" He said smirking at me.

"I'll have two scoops of Cookie Dough please." I said in the sweetest voice that I could muster.

I took a moment to look around the cute little store while Cole and the man spoke. It was polka dot themed and each of the tables resembled an ice cream cone. There were pictures of the shop that dates back to the 1990s, the black and white photos cover most of the right wall.

After getting my ice cream and thanking Cole and the kind old man, Cole suggested that we go for a walk so that he could show me what he wanted to. We ended up making small talk on the way and ended up playing twenty questions. It was my turn just as we were entering a park, and I had asked Cole which of his tattoos is his favorite.

"This one" he said pointing to the one on his upper arm that says "Silly boy, love yourself so no one has to" I recognized the quote as a lyric from one of my favorite All Time Low songs.

"I got it just after my mom died; it was one of her favorite quotes." He said looking up at the sky.

I did not know what to say to make him feel better so I pulled him towards the swings to try and ease the mood. We spent another hour in the park talking and playing around on the jungle gyms and then we headed home. Since it was late, I let Cole crash on the couch in the living room.
