The next few weeks went by without anything exciting happening... well other than the fact that Hayden asked me out. Yeah you heard right he asked me on a date and I couldn't be more excited! I hate to admit that I am actually more nervous than excited since my last relationship with Chris crashed and burned and the wind blew the ash away.

I must admit that I have been seeing a lot more of Kyle and his annoying idiot of a brother... Cole. It seemed like everywhere I went he would just appear and annoy me. I bumped into him at the mall, at school since it turns out that Kyle is in most of my classes.

How did I know that? Well you see I was coming out from school when I saw Cole on a motorbike in the front entrance of the school. And as the smart human I am I walked up to him. Now this may seem all normal except for the fact that I basically accused him of following me around and that I wasn't into the stalker type of guy. To make matters worse Cole didn't even stop me he just sat on his bike smoking with this stupid shit eating grin on his face that just infuriated me even further.

So when I was finally done with my bitch fit, Cole stood up and leaned super duper close to me. Like so close that I could smell his minty aftershave. And kissed me on the cheek and told me that as much fun as following me around would be... he is just here to pick up his brother, Kyle.

So yes it's safe to say that I nearly died of embarrassment. Note to self don't assume things about Cole.

It's Saturday and finally time for my date with Hayden... Nyshelle is coming over to help me pick out what to wear.

"Did he happen to tell you where we are going?" I asked Nyshelle in hopes that she will know what I should wear. All that Hayden will tell me is that he is picking me up here and that I'm going to love whatever he has planned out.

"Nope he wouldn't tell me since he knew you would ask me" She replied much to my dismay.

"Agh this blows. I hate it when guys think it's cute when they won't tell you what they have planned, but actually it's a huge pain in the ass 'cause you never know what to wear!" I exclaimed.

"Oh My Gosh yes!! It's so annoying."

I decided that I was going to wear a pair of dark wash skinny jeans with a black flair shirt with my black pumps. Elle and I curled the ends of my hair so it looked wavy and put on some Smokey eye makeup.

Hayden picked me up on the dot at 7. He was wearing a light blue button up shirt and beige Chinos with Nikes. He walked up and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I'm so glad my mom wasn't home because if she was I would have a butt load of explaining to do. Hayden opened the door for me before going to his side of the car.

We drove in silence the only noise being the radio playing in the background.

"Hayden, will you tell me where we are going?" I broke the silence asking.

"Not a chance, but I can tell you that we are almost there" He told me smirking lightly.

The smirk definitely looks better on Cole than on Hay-

Wow where did that thought come from. I'm here with Hayden and of course I have to think about Cole. Does this make me the worst date ever? I think it does, thankfully he can't hear what I'm thinking.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when the car stops in front of a very fancy looking restaurant. Problem: Fancy restaurant and I'm in skinnies, just wonderful. I hate surprise venues!!

Hayden opens my door and takes my hand pulling me to the entrance.

"Hayden, I'm not dressed for a fancy restaurant" I whine.

"You look fine, I promise. Nobody is going to say anything" He says tugging on my hand.

"I sure hope you're right" I mumble while walking in.

"Table for two, under Anderson" Hayden says to the receptionist who begins typing on her keyboard. She gives me a once over and shakes her head before turning to Hayden again.

"Got it, right this way" She says and we walk after her.

We are seated at the back away from wondering eyes. Once we are seated Hayden smiles at me and says. "So... you like it?"

I give him a small smile and am about to answer when a waiter appears with our menus.

He orders a Coke for himself and I get a peach iced tea. We sit and talk about school and how I'm liking it here. The waiter comes back and asks what we would like to eat. Hayden says that he will order for the both of us. Now as you can imagine I was skeptical because let's face it ladies nobody likes a guy to order for them unless of course you're into that I guess.

"We'll have two Chicken Salads with Blue Cheese Dressing." Hayden told the waiter with a wink.

"I hope you don't mind but it's the best thing this restaurant has." He told me before taking a sip of his Coke.

"Not at all, you know this place better than I do." I replied not really knowing what to say.

After dinner we were walking to his car. The meal wasn't too bad. Admittedly the dressing did smell a little, but it was great we laughed a lot and spoke about his family and I found out that his dad is a real estate developer and owns most of the buildings in the city.

"Would you like me to take you home? Or would you like to come to my place?" Hayden asked with a suggestive wink.

"Nah I gotta go home, my mom is probably waiting up for me." I said knowing this is a lie since my mom is out of town for the next three weeks.

"Oh... Okay" he said with a disappointed look on his face.

Now you're probably thinking 'why the hell didn't she go home with that hottie' well, I am a virgin and I plan to keep it that way and I know that going home with Hayden, he would have expected something that I wasn't gonna give him.
