Break time rolled around quickly, and I was excited to be met by food. At least there would be one great outcome of today. Ryan and I walked out of the classroom, down the hallway, being ambushed by mobs of students flying around. Hushed whispers were being spread around the school. I wasn't one to listen to silly rumours, but they caught my ears at the words "Captain America". Chris Evans played Captain America in the movie. maybe everybody was just hyped up about the Avengers Assemble film that just came out. I've already watched it twice in the movie theatre, so I didn't feel the need to join their conversations.
As we walked by the biology block, I witnessed 20 or so students crowded around the door, but I thought nothing of it. Everybody is always excited to see the new teacher who starts in our school.
We met Mira sitting at the benches with a few other friends of ours- Travis, Marissa and Corey. Travis passed me a packet of Doritos- thank God he knew me well, and Corey gave me a bottle of Sprite. I hoovered the crisps and downed the drink in only a few minutes, whereas, nobody else was even half finished.
"You lucky shit Liz, look how much you eat, yet you don't get fat!" Marissa exclaimed, a hint of jealousy in her tone. Marissa was a little chubby and always envied slim girls, but don't get me wrong, she was gorgeous. I don't even know why she wanted to shed her weight.
"Well I know for a fact that you do not pay attention in Biology, theres a little thing called fast metabolism." The boys laughed and she punched Travis in the ribs.
"Damn girl, do you lift weights?" He asked her, flustered by her strength.
I giggled when she flipped him the finger, standing up to find the nearest bin to put my rubbish in. What kind of school doesn't leave bins within a 20 metre radius? The only trash can I would be able to find would be inside the school, by the biology block. I began my trek, ignoring the painfully cold wind stabbing at my cheeks. I finally found the bin and started walking towards it, when I recieved a text on my phone. I took it out of my pocket and checked the text. To my disappointment and frustration, it was only a stupid warning text from the network I use for my mobile. Well that was a waste of energy, i thought as I continued to frown down at it.
Suddenly, I smacked right into someone hard, and I landed on the floor with rubbish littered everywhere. "DAMN IT, Watch where your going man, do you wanna kill me or something?" I asked, infuriated as I picked up the litter from the ground. The person stayed where they were standing, unmoving. "Well, aren't you going to help me?!" I practically yelled. Immediatly, they dropped to their knees and helped to pick up some trash.
We got to our feet, and I still hadn't looked up to see the culprit of my near death. They held out their arms, with my trash in it and I scooped it from them. Muttering an inaudible thanks.
"Sorry about that." The person said. I almost did a double take at how amazing their voice was. It was so deep and brooding, something inexplainable. I immediately looked up, to see who the owner of the voice was.
My heart literally stopped beating. My blood stopped pumping and I stayed frozen with shock. It was the guy. The guy I always thought about. The guy who always made my dreams positive, the guy who made me smile, even though he didn't know I existed. The guy...
"CHRIS EVANS?!" I yelled, in pure shock.
"Wow, you actually know my name. People around here keep on calling me Captain America."
I stayed silent.
"I'm the new teacher here, actually. The Biology teacher."
I still didn't say a word.
"You do have a name... right?" He asked me, confused at my silence. I immediately snapped out of my trance, and my body started to work again.
"Yeah. I do have a name. Elizabeth. Call me Liz." He smiled at my robotic response.
"Well, Liz, I'm new here and I've been told to enforce school rules," He started, his eyes darting to my phone and back up to my eyes. "So consider it confiscated." He said simply, plucking my phone out of my hands and tucking it in his pocket. My eyes narrowed at him and I was gaping like a fish. That bastard took my phone!
"Hey!"
"You can have it back at the end of the day."
"You're a bitch, you know that right?" I asked with a venemous tone. Maybe Chris Evans isn't the caring, compassionate heartthrob I had always imagined him to be. He feigned a hurt expression and then smirked in an arrogant way.
"That's what you get for being rude when you bumped into me."
I huffed and puffed like I usually did when I didn't get my way.
"Whatever. See if I care!" I yelled as I marched away from him like a two year old.
What an evil guy! Why did he have to act so annoying and be such a bitch?
Then why did you keep on thinking about how good he looked? My subconscious thought
Why did he have to confiscate my phone?
Why did you feel tingles when he touched your hand to take it?
Why did he have to decide to work in this school?!
If you're so angry with him, then why are you looking forward to your next Biology class?
A/N: Yess yess so she's met him and it wasn't exactly in a great way! By the way- Chris evans is on the right and its an amazing picture... he's an amazing guy!!
